I feel weird asking this especially since I feel pretty sure this is the wrong place... But right game.... I literally have zero GC friends (other than just now adding hoggy) and want to actually get on that... Might as well start with RR players, is there a better place to put my GC name or will here be okay? GC: zetaspawn again sorry for derailing the party, but I just feel so lonely :'-(
Anyone having trouble syncing between devices? Played it last night on my mini and my iPad 4 insists on me restarting from the beginning. I switched iCloud on (usually have that off as it has f***ed my progress before). Anything else I should be aware of?
So if you turn on airplane mode then adjust the clock forward you can skip the wait times completely. Anyway the game isn't that good. Yes the graphics are nice but no arcade mode, no multiplayer, bad sound effects if you scuff another car it sounds like someone's using a chainsaw and the broken glass sounds like someone's smashing bottles in a bar. Then some weird noise when you win a race that sounds like you've run over someone's head. Plus no noticeable driving improvements to real racing 2. Also I'm not buying this tsm crap. I'm fairly certain most of the time they've just stuck someone's name and avatar next to an ai car. I did see my friend race my ghost and it wasn't how I drove at all.
My understanding of TSM is that it's your lap time, but not the lines you raced. I believe that if you do a 2 lap race in 3 min that it averages that over the 2 laps and replicates a lap time, but not the exact race as it were. Sorry I hope that makes sense).
It's not a ghost, it's the TSM opponents' time around the track applied to an AI controlled car. So if your buddy takes 2 minutes to do a lap, the TSM opponent representing your buddy will take the same 2 minutes, although not the same line. Furthermore, the driving physics are considerably better than RR2. I'm with you on the modes...wish there was some realtime MP.
Hey folks, just trying this out. Toes anyone remember the post that talks about a getting started guide? I remember seeing it but the sheet size of this thread is incredible

A question to the "New Zealanders", has anyone tried to take their savegame using iFunBox or iExplorer, and used it with Real Racing 3 from their local App Store? I downloaded the game 2 weeks ago from the New Zealand App Store, but since it now came out internationally, I want to download RR3 from my local App Store without losing my progress!
Quick question - I have a ipod touch and several android devices.. does any know how to set it up so it syncs across all devices? Or do I have to pick one and run with it?
Firemonkey have acknowledged that they are backing up your save-game to Cloudcell already occasionally but restoring the backup file / auto-sync is NOT enabled / implemented yet. Its 'coming in a future update' according to the support site.
So...guys. Is there any way to play it on iPad and iPhone with some kind of cloud support ? I tried it this morning and i didn't see this and i'm very sad
Absolutely hateful business model, ruins the game. Yes yes I know it's *possible* to put up with it, but only if you're willing to fundamentally alter how you play games; instead of playing a good game until you're tired of it, you struggle to game the system so that you can keep playing it when IT is tired of YOU. #### that SHIT.
Same as everyone else but arrrgh I don't want to be playing same races twice cause there is no way ( not that I can see) to carry data from iPhone to iPad and vise versa...... Surely this should have been in from the start, at least you can restore purchases thou.. Brilliant game just let down by something that should have been truly obvious to have in game from the start
