Bump that for me lol. I've put too much time into it, to just start over. I just practiced the saving of my data, etc. It worked just fine. Now, when the US version is released, I'll save my data again, and restore it after downloading the US version. No way I'd start over, AGAIN lol.
The showcase discounts are only 20%, but last week the featured event was for the Porsche 911 RS and it was on sale with a much bigger discount. That was a bargain as it is an awesome car and has access to 3 series.
So, for now, I have instant repair times but 60 minutes wait to compete two service items on my Porsche. Level 20, still not bought any in game IAP since playing the NZ release these past two weeks.
In mine the Audi R8 something or other is 30% off (still having just started $260,000 is a little ways off.
FWIW I just heard from Firemonkeys that they've finished all their soft launch timer tweaks so the game now is how it is for reals.
If the service timers are as is with the latest version, then that just makes for a bad idea, IMO of course.
I gotta do my really unscientific test on my focus and play for an hour, and then do all repairs and servicing, it ranged from none, 2 hr, 6 hr, 20 hour during the NZ time period, kinda curious to see what it will be like for the US version.
Quite disappointed this doesn't have full airplay support as in RR2. I was really anxious to get this and play on the big screen but it just mirrors what's on the iPad display. It was going to be my showcase app for both the iPhone 5 and the iPad 4th gen.
Oddly enough, I done two service tweaks to my Porsche, which took 60 mins but after racing my Skyline in another event, it only took 5 mins for oil and 15 mins for tyres for my Skyline service post race. Instant repairs are awesome.
I'd also like to apologise to anyone who raced by TSM Skyline ... I nodded off on the final lap and caused a minor pile up. Sorry!
Played for a couple of hours now. It's not bad, I've had about 20 minutes down time now through upgrades and servicing. Just bought my second car and servicing the first so got a 15 minute wait now, though likely I'm off to sleep. Graphics are superb though I'm surprised at home jittery the FPS get when inside the car on an iPad 4. Sometimes the chosen TSM opponents are annoying as they are so far ahead. One event where you have to get the highest speed the first place was on 265kph, I was second with 253kph and the rest where slower than me. Similar in a race I just had where the 1st places car was so far ahead of me and the rest of the pack. Heh HO For now I'll keep plugging away
Yeah me too, RR2 also have 4 player one screen on the tv support I think, but the best you are gonna get is this...
Wow, just giving a full service to my Nissan Silva is going to take 45 minutes. Thank god sleep is calling.
May have been answered before but I can't see anything concrete in the most recent pages. Is there iCloud support? Would love to play this on my iPad at home and on my phone when I'm on break at work, on the train etc.
Nope. As of now, there isn't any cloud support. I REALLY REALLY hope that it is available once the full release is out, but I seriously doubt it will be.
