I've heard from a number of people that a planned true multiplayer is in the works. I have no idea if this is true. Anyone have any insight?
I hope so, but I doubt it. Probably will depend too how much they make from inapps and if it is successful or not.
That's a bit disappointing, no quick race option or regular online multiplayer. That still doesn't keep me back from trying it out when it hits tonight!
Wait til you get to the wait timers, repair shops, inapp galore, and zombie AI; then you will be even happier.
Dont fret. Not early the issue so e would have you believe. I've had the game for two weeks and yet to spend a cent. I have three cars now and can play while other cars are being repaired. Only an issue early on a doc you want to play marathon sessions.
So, you guys who have been playing for a bit, what are your recommendations for the first 3 cars to purchase? I've just started with the Nissan Silvia and it would be good to know which cars to save up and aim for.
Just played two races and repairs where instant (no timers). And I'm at level 30, so it's not because I'm just staring out (I'm not ;-))
They changed repairs to zero a couple of days ago. It's the servicing that has wait times now, but this changes constantiy.
Don't Upgrade just yet! Save the money for deals. The one you'll get - that's the best car But they're usualy 3rd or 4th from the group. I was lucky and got myself the Shelby GT500 this way.
You are on the old version. The new version so far has repairs being instant, but there are still wait timers on the servicing, delivery, and upgrwdes

So, the latest build has hit the Dutch Appstore. Made a backup of my savegame and then reinstalled it from my own store. Still on the fence regarding either restoring my save game, or to purchase the All Classes Covered pack and start from scratch with a new strategy on buying cars and upgrading. Same here. I was shocked to see how much it improved when using the hood view. For me the view is not too low and actually it seems more immersive then cockpit view. You see a lot more of the environment. It's even a bigger blast to drive now!
