hey Guys, RaidLeader is still in beta, but we are nearing gold status very fast. I think we are set for next week or the week after. (Unless something unexpected and nasty turns up. ) Best, Peter
still in beta . what happen to our application to test the game? any news from CM...is it going to invite us in beta? it's nearing a month already since the beta announcement..hopefully to see some nice trailer.
I'm sorry if your application to enter the RaidLeader beta got lost somewhere in the cybernet. If you are still interested I would encourage you to resend your info and device details to [email protected] Great to hear. Thanks Best, Peter
Hey guys, As you probably know Raid Leader was just previewed by Brad here on Toucharcade. Just in case some missed it, here's the quick link. http://toucharcade.com/2012/01/16/when-mmo-meets-real-time-strategy-rpg-you-get-red-zebras-first-game-raid-leader/ And here are the screenshots (iPhone4 sized) that went with the preview. Hope you like! As always I'm ready to answer any questions you might have. Best, Peter
Hey, nice game looks awesome, you get any idea's of battleheart? ? Also, about 2 weeks ago you said (at the top of this page) that the game would be ready like now?
I'm pretty sure the inspiration was drawn from non-iOS games; MMOs to exact based on the description. Battleheart was probably just a reference in how to implement the game on iOS. This looks a hell of a lot better than Battleheart IMHO. Is there any sort of story that goes along with the gameplay? Just curious...
Hey Guys, Been busy for a while. We hope to have the game submitted to Apple very soon.. (next week!). We had a crashbug on low memory devices that we had to take care of - as well as a couple of new feature we haven't talked much about yet which were just begging to be implemented. We are almost there! I've tried my best to answer a few of the questions below. I know what you mean, however I don't think we got any ideas straight from BattleHeart per se. More likely BattleHeart proved to us that our basic idea was solid and a great game could be made. Raid Leader started development quite a while before Battleheart was known (atleast to us) - and we have sketches and gameplay ideas for Raid Leader that go all the way back to 2009! We love BattleHeart too! The Priest's major concern is to keep the other classes topped up on health - so yeah, there's a lot of healing going on. That is a very much spot on observation! The biggest influence for Raid Leader is World of Warcraft and the other great MMO's that came before Blizzards behemoth. Raid Leader has a story, and a story that we plan to build upon and develop in further updates (and our next games ) Best, Peter
Awesome! take as much time as you need to, so we don't have to deal with title screen crashing. I will always appreciate games that are a product of more than a few months! Awesome! I don't really too much care about full on multiplayer, but some mob boss battles littered throughout the game would be awesome. Hopefully the game will sell well so that you guys can possibly implement something like that...maybe! Awesome...WoW was/is a great MMO. I don't really know how I feel about the recent expansions, but I haven't played in a long time. So, they don't really effect me. Awesome! It will actually be really cool if all your games reference each other in some sort of way, no matter how subtle.
Hey guys, Did you check out the latest TouchArcade podcast where your favorite TA staff discuss Raid Leader amongst other cool stuff! http://toucharcade.com/2012/01/20/the-toucharcade-show-35-i-hope-my-mom-doesnt-listen-to-the-podcast/ PS. I should have some really good news to share with you reaaaaaally soon! Best, Peter
Ahhh, you worded that well I don't care even if you did get idea's from Battleheart, I just think it's great there's another game with idea's from that game. But yeah, you must of put alot of effort into the game I take it xD
Thanks! We have indeed put a lot of sweat and tears into Raid Leader. We are very exited to have the game out really soon! Best, Peter
