GAme of the WEEEK????? http://toucharcade.com/2017/08/04/toucharcade-game-of-the-week-pigeon-wings/ Thanks for giving pigeon Wings a go everybody!!!!!! The update will be so awesome
5 stars for this little gem and well done dev for the good job. I hate tilt control but this one is good although I'm 100% sure it will be even better with touch control.
For me yes as I think the pace of the game is too high for the tilt control, but a lot of people mastered it which isn't my case, I suck when it comes to tilt control.
IMHO: no! Tilt controls are part of the concept of your game and they are perfect! No touch controls needed in this case ... I prefer touch controls in every other game, btw
First I want to say this is an amazing game. I've been trying to get the people on TouchArcade's discord to pick this up. The tilt controls are unbelievably tight. How this hasn't been done before I don't understand. Moving the device like a paddle (back and forth) as opposed to a steering wheel makes the control you have over the game incredibly precise. I'm not sure if this has been suggested but I had an idea about the iPad controls. If you make the whole side of the screen to the button or allow the current buttons to be moved to the top of the screen the iPad can rest on the lap or table and be held at the top. That takes the weight off and gives you a solid pivot point for the large screen.
Eheh ! Few tips just for you : . Level 1-5 : You will loose time if the boss shoot the line of bullets. So try to keep moving and everytime touching him as horizontal as you can to get my timer . Level 1-10 : Never touch any drone bot. In phase 2, but also in phase 3 !
Thanks Sobriquet! We're actively thinking about how to improve in the update so comments like these help a TON!
For 1-5: that is what i do ... even if he shoots a line i hit. But the recent times are closer to yours. I guesss everything depends just on when starting to shoot 1-10: Thank you. Not shooting the drones is it! But it's very hard to do
We are working on the update now! Figuring out how to adapt the area designer to work "on the fly" besides its current mode which sets up the patterns for the tiles at the start of each level. Also, gotta fix the game crash when playing and listening to another audio source.
Love the game, especially after I changed the controls to inverted! Any chance of adding unlockable hats, planes, or other pigeons?
