Toki Tori the best puzzle games ever. THe wii version came out later than scheduled too. Its unfortunate about the iphone delay, Im confident this will be one of the best iphone games of all time though, esspecially for people who missed out on the GBC and Wii versions.
I follow chillingo on my twitter page and i noticed that early this morning they twittered about all the websites that did a preview review of Toki Tori. Most of these previews were posted with in the last couple of days so does this mean the release will be very soon or has anyone heard anything about it?? Oh yea is their twitter page if you want to look at the previews. http://twitter.com/chillingo
Green, I sure hope so. I am a beta tester for Toki and I'm pleased to see the place I work for up there among the list of sites that previewed Toki It's a wonderful game and I am sure you will love it when it is released
Thing is, they gave those previews to a bunch of bum sites. Where's the previews from Toucharcade, IGN, Pocketgamer and SlidetoPlay?
Thx candy i've been waiting for this game for a very long time and arta just so you know the portable gamer and touch my apps are decents app sites too they just don't get the publicity like the ones you mentioned
ya, not sure what their logic is. We received a very early preview copy from the developers themselves back in February: http://toucharcade.com/2009/02/25/preview-video-of-iphone-puzzle-platformer-toki-tori/ but haven't received a new copy since Chillingo has taken the publishing over. arn
bum sites? I work for one of those "bum" sites and don't think that is an appropriate word at all. The word should be more like "great" and involving into a force to be reckoned with in the future.
some new screen shots and updates of this game have just been released at : http://www.razorianfly.com/2009/preview-toki-tori/
Okay, I checked them out and they aren't bum sites (the others in the twitter are though). Still a mystery why they got a bunch of previews and the top sites didn't.
Well, as far as I know, my co-editors aren't previewing it because they have their plates full already with Assassin's Creed and CJS ( ). I just did an exclusive interview with Underworlds' Chief Creative Officer and we're still trying to get other exclusives with Firemint and new information for Star Defense. I have some news you guys might not have got from Xpressed (makers of UniWar) on the new update, but I didn't plan on releasing that news because they gave me the bare minimum -- not worth an article (yet). Toki Tori looks fun though, only one of us got the preview build so that explains why I'm not covering it.
Thank you arta I'm really enjoying Toki. I stand by my prediction that this will be quite a big seller for the idevice.
Hi Candy, will later levels incorporate more complicated puzzles? Because the first few levels look really easy and repetitive. Will there be different environments, enemies, items, etc (progressive a la old school platformers)? Or is it just different obstacles on the same background again and again?
Sorry, I changed the link to be more direct. The castle level is my favorite I think! yes both games are looking to be two of the best on the idevice.
