One of the change logs did mention something like giving you a 3-star hero on a level fail if you dont have a hero that's as strong or something.
Regarding the 3* hero selector achievement reward, can you use it to get additional biometrics for heroes you currently have instead of a hero you don't have?
Am I crazy or does the drop rate on bios seem like it was nerfed in the last update? Maybe I'm just in a rut.
That's what I thought too. Supposedly they claimed they improved it but drop rates actually seem worse in my experience as well...
I was wondering why my stuff was going so slow like whatever I was doing I was getting the orange circle of death! Then I got the message under going maintanence.
I just played 10 Special levels, 3rd tier and got 3 bios, I used to get 5 or so on 2nd tier. Yesterday I played 9 Elite levels of Capt America and got zero bios. ZERO! Also the Dimensions seem to be stuck on a small handful of heroes lately.
I got the Angela one. I was tired of feeling awkward when I played as her, and I really enjoy playing with her move set.
Thanks. In all honesty, until you pointed it out I didn't consider my position to be one of the elite ones, but you are right. I don't play any other games and the reason I play this one is because it takes so little of my attention. Note: I was a mean Progress Quest player back in the days. Actually, you do balance a mass market games exactly based on what the top 1%-2% are doing, especially when they find a loophole that breaks the natural progression, because they are at the front of the bell curve: where they lead the majority will follow. I've seen games moving too slowly to address the issues and the gap only becomes larger, rather than smaller, between the leading 2% and the majority. Unfortunately the 16% stuck in the middle (here we go, I'm using standard deviations for game community classes again) between top 2% and the main 64% get shafted. Yes, you protect the asshats that exploited the loopholes, but the upside, if there is one, is that it's only 2% of asshats. If you don't address the issue soon enough you'll be dealing with 10%+ asshats in the game. And that's well over the critical mass for any game. I've only focused on Yellow Jacket during his heyday, I hope that makes me only half asshat. Assberet? A tip: Ultron is great for clearing Yellow Jacket stages thanks to his immunity to poison. Little by little it all adds up. From the longevity of the game perspective they did. Now if they don't plan to keep the game profitable in the long run (a waste of a franchise, no?) then the short term boosts help, but they're detrimental in the long run. If a game is considered too easy then whales won't pay their way to advance and ordinary people like you and I won't spend any battery time on running it. BTW, either my skills got way better over the last few days since the update came out or they addressed the difficulty of the Secret Wars villains in VS, because they're less of a pain in the neck than they were before. First time I ran it I struggled to complete Stage 8 and it came down to using all the fodder to reduce the villain one percentage point at a time. Now Stage 8 is "easily" doable every day. OK, 6 of one and half a dozen of the other one. They do need to protect their precious whales (a group I am decidedly not a part of - I'm a low VIP 6). After all, whales need to feel special and need their ego stroked or else they take their toys and go play in a different sandbox. In other news, I've been playing Battleworld arena quite a bit the second time around, when it was all male cast and now that it's all female cast and the difference in the level of opponents couldn't be bigger. In all-male hero battles I was typically up against all 6* heroes the moment I passed 20 or so wins (about 2700 points?). Now in all-female hero battles I had to get over 50 (6800+ points?) wins to get to the stage where opponents have consistent 5* / 6* (typically just Black Widow) cast. Observation: 90% put Black Widow in the first team, typically together with another speed character. If you want to get the upper hand just stack your first team with two combat characters. Nebula and 2099 Captain America do wonders. Also good tactic: mixing a melee character (Black Widow, Angela, Gamora, Nebula are preferential) with a ranged character (Wasp, Captain Marvel). Your melee character will pull the opponents onto her, leaving the range character to safely snipe from the sidelines. Once you're down two characters you still have a fighting chance, once you're down three characters you typically won't recover. First two heroes count for a lot. Loser strategy: start with your weakest heroes and put your strongest hero last. That guarantees that your final hero will be ganged up on.
Depends: Defense penetration is great for heroes that deal few hits per skill or have slower attack rate. Good for the dodge build heroes, too. Critical Rate is good if your hero deals multiple hits per skill (War Machine, Iron Man, Yellow Jacket, Luke Cage, Gamora, etc.) and you want to equip Crit Rate or Crit Damage 5th gear to maximise your chances. Critical Damage only if you have high (at least 20%) Critical Rate from elsewhere and your hero deals multiple hits per skill Skill Cooldown only if you also have ISO-8 set for CD and your hero gets skill cooldown as a secondary stat for any of the gears, otherwise you won't notice any significant difference That, in short, is that. Rule of thumb: you can't go wrong with defense penetration when you look at the cumulative effect (small change individually, but it all adds up).
