Looks nice ---- if it plays like Diablo and controls like iDracula you are going to have a hit.... but special skills/talents/perks are needed as well as the ability to upgrade these perks with specific charatcer archetypes.
The original Diablo was probably my most-played game. I sacrificed a couple of mouse buttons for it. I sure hope this game can deliver a similar depth

Art looks good but a good painter does not necessarily make a good renderer. In other words, I hope the graphics aren't terribad. I'll wait for some alpha screenshots.
True, yet all they've given us right now is a concept for looks. A misconception for a hype builder. Also I've noticed that most of the top recommended games here have excellent graphics so it's not a terrible rule of thumb.
As said on the front news post, the game is actually running at the moment, they just haven't posted any screens. So hopefully we might see some soon!
a little information to give you guys an idea. Customization Players will be able to change their stats for: Character ( directly and indirectly through hand held weapons ) Weapons Upgrades: weapons, health, Speed Special Powers Accessories: different stuff that can be attached to the exoskeleton suit such as jetpack, missile launcher, etc. Helpers: There will be 6 Mechanical androids available with different functionalities (attack, defense, action triggers) and 3 grades of upgrades each to aid the player through the game. Player could use up to 3 helpers at a time.
It all looks stunning. How is the gameplay set up? Do you select the character and then command them to move, shoot, etc.? I am really looking forward to a video.
We are still developing the overall game play, it is important to us that it doesn't feel cluttered while playing the game. Obviously you guys opinions means allot to us and any and all suggestions you guys make will be taken into consideration so don't be shy to tell us exactly what you guys feel we should be doing. after all the game is for you guys to enjoy in the end! Currently what we have for the underlying control is tap to select the character and tap to move to that location. When interacting with environment, taping the object will bring a halo around it. That halo will have a specific color depending on what type of object that is. Around the halo we will then display your option for that specific object. i.e if it is a door "depending on the variables" the options might be - open - force open - use key - use password - hack - or any thing along those lines. Each object in the game will have its own variables that will allow us to keep the game story heavy and interesting, not feeling to repetitive and saturated. This system would then apply to everything you interact with such as enemies but if you tap an enemy you will fire at him but the halo will also display options when available, such as throw plasma bomb ( if you have one ) WELL! we look forward to hear your thoughts!
