Has anyone else had an issue with the "Meet The Makers" achievement in Gamecenter? I initially earned it, and it unlocked in both GC & OpenFeint, but shortly afterwards it only shows as unlocked in OF.
Hey guys, we put League of Evil on sale from $2.99 to $0.99. So if any of your friends missed the previous sale, let them know now! Thanks everyone!
Definitely will, this is my favorite game on iOS. Nice to see the briefcase added to the final impossible level in the latest update too - now I can aim for 100% completion. Any hints as to what this new project is? I'm sure I'll buy it anyway, but I'm curious.
Sure! 1. The first is a project we developed for Bulletproof Outlaws. (TA Forum Thread) 2. The other project is Burrito Bison by Juicy Beast! (TA Article)
The new levels are hard, but I almost love that. This is coming from a person who loves to beat games all the way through and get everything there is except for achievements, but I almost like that I cannot beat many levels in one sitting. It gives this game more lasting value than maybe all others except for my best racers. I know that six months from now I could still be working on this game even if no other updates come out. I do not lay this for very long in one sitting anymore, and I often just pick it up and play any unbeaten level, or I go back for a three star/briefcase. But I always have this when I want a challenge, and I am even more happy when I get three stars and a briefcase on my second try three days after spending four hours trying and failing to do so.
This was a really awesome, addicting game. I finished everything in 2 afternoons, haha. I just have to get 500/1000 kills now. I'm not too big of a fan of this type of achievement, as I often have to just go back and spam repetition to get it. Is there a level in particular with the most baddies that I can unleash my rage on?
Man, it's been awfully quiet around here. Guess I have to tease some new development to get you guys salivating
Level editing=freakin awesome game. Can you drop the details yet (sharing, can you download levels from others online, etc)? Edit: Oh and level size limit in editor?
It worked those screenshots are awesome, this game is awesome, and you guys are awesome. thanks for continuing to support this game
Yay!!! That's great to see. Keep working on that level editor! And put alphabet tiles in there for bonus praise. I wanna drop words in my levels. I'm already looking forward to "best level" competitions.
Current plans will allow gamers to sign up for account on our LoE website to have access to the "Community" section. Once you have an account you'll be able to sign into it on your iDevice and access the sharing options. We intend to allow for dual rating (difficulty and fun factor), and will allow other LoE gamers to download and play shared levels. We can obviously include social options for sharing maps you've created. Level size is the same as the largest League of Evil level (40x30). Level Editor is planned for the next update, though no timeline is attached.
Do you download levels one at a time? I would love to see an option of packs based on rating and difficulty, and a manage packs or levels menu for what you have downloaded (maybe even something the notifies you if you download the same level twice? Also, are you guys planning to have anymore level packs?
When this comes out(If it works well and there is big community support) this will immediately make this GOTY for me due to infinite replay value.
We can keep that in mind. We have not worked out pricing structure yet, but are considering subscription based downloads and a credit pack system that could do bundles. This will all be revealed when things are more finalized. The stuff happening now is primarily functional testing of new technology. We are planning to release some new level packs someday, but with the release of the level editor we are sure that you guys should have an endless supply of new levels Hopefully with everyone's interest and help we will be able to build a large community. A similar level editor in Flash or HTML5 will be built so that people can also develop and maintain their maps from their web browser.
This sounds amazing!! However, please don't do a subscription-based pricing plan for user generated content! I'd gladly pay a fee to unlock the level editor and sharing options but buying credits to download other people's levels just seems wrong... Regardless, I'm very very excited about the level editor!
Same here would gladly pay a fee to unlock user content(since you guys worked so hard to build and maintain the infastructure and the amount of levels that could be created), but makes little sense to do a subscription based thing for it(since it is user content)
