Buy it now, it is worth every penny. Illusion Labs also almost never puts their games on sale IE touchgrind and sway had been 4.99 they're entire life on the app store. All of their titles are worth the asking price so there is no need for a sale
I agree completely, Illusion Labs has some of the best, highest quality games on the store that don't deserve to go on sale
i guarantee there will not be a sale. just fork over the extra 2 dollars you parsimonious cheapskate!
Finally got it and LOVE it! What a well polished game. Everything from the menus to the game play to the unlimited replay value of all the great packs that everyone is creating. Definitely worth the price if not more. Truly an amazing game and this will be on my front page for a while!
Thanks for all the compliments! Glad to hear you really enjoy it and appreciate all the little details. It makes all the hard work worth it. Update #1 should be out soon, and when we'll submit update #2 right away.
There won't be any sales, right? Because I think I will get the game now.. don't like it when a sale comes the next day after you buy the game, or hours *Star Defense * was one.
No we don't like to screw our customers. I'm a customer too, and I know how it feels. Price history of Touchgrind: http://appshopper.com/games/touchgrind Price history of Sway: http://appshopper.com/games/sway (Now, I can't promise on my life that we won't lower the price ever, you never know what happens and what actions you need to take, but we have no plans or intention to lower it anytime soon, i.e. the next six months)
Ok Just bought the game. I never noticed the "2" in the icon until now Can't wait to play it. It was the lite that got me into it. I think I'll get Labyrinth 1 later though, this one (Labyrinth 2) looks really promising.. EDIT: Very fun. Played through tutorial and downloaded Mew2468- got stuck a few times but very fun. Any good level packs made I should try? How many levels are there in single player? Just left a 5-star review on itunes
Great, thanks! Play through the official level packs, and then check out the top lists -- there are many excellent levels there! Also, check out the other L2 thread: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=35170 There are some great user created packs there! There are 21 official level packs, and between 5-10 levels in each (on average 7 or 8 I think).
Here are some of our own level packs, created after release: Christoffer (3D artist): AKYD4LMA Carl (programmer): A2FWNJ69 Anders (that's me, programmer): AFJ2XNSA Marcus (programmer): AQEZFH88 (the others haven't published any packs yet)
There should be a way to follow people or to bookmark certain authors. Notifications, when they created something new, would also be great. And I would love to see some OpenFeint-connectivity coming in an update .
You can already "bookmark" authors, here's how: For a level pack you like, click the 'i' button to go to the info screen, then click "Add to faves". To find more packs by the same author, click ID button from the info screen. Notifications is a great suggestion, I'll add it to our list. I'm not sure about OpenFeint though, don't think it would add much.
The GUI is ugly and slow, but the functionality would fit into Labyrinth 2, because you already count the times of the levels and have achievements. This would translate seemless into OF. Jet Car Stunts makes fun because of the OF integration and because you can compare your times with other players around the world and with your friends and challenge other players, even with Push Notifications. This community-aspect is currently missing in Labyrinth 2. And after a reinstall you could get the game settings like times etc. from OpenFeint and don’t have to start over again from the beginning.
I have to admit that I haven't invested too much time in OF, and it seems like you can use some features without using the UI. We have our own highscore system that we use in Touhgrind, so we can use that if want, plus we can customize it the way we want to, like add the ghost ball run to the highscore list as well. So I'll guess we'll look into OF then
Please keep the suggestions coming, we take them all into consideration. For those that are on the fence, here's a review recap: TouchArcade AppAdvice TUAW Loot Ninja The APPera PocketGamer AppModo RazorianFly Everyday Gamers AppVee News Shopper
