funny... I fell for your joke, I'm still waiting for somebody to say that and mean it, but did you really have to put it in bold text like that?

For anybody getting really stuck on the early levels, watching the youtube tutorial on the first page of this thread might help... and there are a couple tips on our support page

If your having fun, keep trying, its worth it. If you manage to get to the later levels, then come back to the just learning levels, you wont beleive how easy they are.

    Good Luck!

Hehe :D of course I had to bold it, it automatically draws the eye to what is bolded :D

Really like the game though. Almost through the Easy levels I think.

We where talking abit about this in the pre-release thread, where you involved in that discusion.
Anyway, we have been considering the possibility of a freestyle add-on pack for quite a while. Personally I love the idea. Needs a new specialised trick car and a scoring system and stuff. There are heaps of possibilities.

However, first we will focus on adding accelerometer calabration, and fixing the 1st Gen iPhones sound issue, where the game only works with headphones plugged in, or in silent mode.

I would like to add... Once we get the Update that fixes the niggles... We are both looking forward to adding new stuff to the game and taking it forward :)

That video is cool :) That's one thing we wanted to do from the word go. Upload videos of the replays to youtube. Unfortunately none of the online APIs offer this service, barring Firemints cloudcell technology, which is closed off to outside developers. But as soon as any API offers this service or Cloudcell becomes open, we will implement this.

Just uploading data to servers (if only Openfeint could do this) would be good because people could download the replays connected to the best times.

Thats a definate maybe;) I'm sure we will have so many requests that it will be impossible to do them all, but we will think very carefully about what updates we choose to do, just like we thought very carefully about what to include in the first release.

Or Birds in the Sky, or why not windows on the obstacles, oh wait, lets make houses out of the obstacles and add a real street and then we just re-name the game to Asphalt or Need for Speed.

Keep it simple - a philosophy also Apple follows which is great.
This game is perfect with one very beautiful car.

maybe add a ghost (best time or a downloaded time from the online highscores)
and a timer that shows you on every checkpoint how much faster/slower you are
    and loopings would be nice

it's tricky.. but you get the hang of the turns after a while..

i hate them edges, they flip my car when i land and skid on them.. grrrr

but loving the challenge of it all.. wish i had more time to play

A lot of years experience between Luke and I went into making this game. It took both Luke and I to get the accelerometer control to be the best so far. You would not believe how many late nights I put in on the iPhone side of things to get that accelerometer callback not to drop a beat. Couple that with how Luke did the steering of the car (top secret method ;)) I think we nailed it. We did some very clever design choices from the start to keep the frame rate high, couple that with our own sound engine, and our top secret game loop method, and the frame rate never drops - even on a 1st gen iPod.

I'm really proud of the work we put into it... hopefully we have showed what the iPhone/iPod devices are really capable of and have raised the bar for other developers to aim for.

Our main aim from the start was to make a good fun game for a very good price.

I put this game in my Top 5 of all-time: iBlast Moki, Hook Champ, Drop7, Star Hogs, Jet Car Stunts. Definitely one of the greatest in the appstore.
