But Inferno 2 gets my money first. I've been waiting for this and I owe Radiangames a full price purchase after getting so many great games cheap during the last sale. nightc1 Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2012 4,362 0 0 AL #25 nightc1, Oct 2, 2014 It's too soon to tell. If you haven't played the first then buy it. It's a fantastic game on its own. Not buying is like not buying Super Mario Bros 3 when Super Mario World just launched. SMB3 is still a fantastic experience in its own right. The original is a known classic and time will tell if the sequal is worthy. I hope it is and at 0coffee prices there's no reason for a fan if the original to jump in. Just not sure which is best for someone newton the series. razorracer83 Well-Known Member Apr 14, 2013 199 0 0 New York City, New York, USA #28 razorracer83, Oct 2, 2014 Last edited: Oct 3, 2014 You and me both. After getting every game for 99 cents or free from the last sale and getting Super Crossfighter for free at relaunch, I would look like a total jerk not to buy Inferno 2 at full price. Besides, I actually liked playing Inferno+ the most out the Radiangames. Ubisububi Well-Known Member Oct 8, 2009 1,088 9 38 California #29 Ubisububi, Oct 2, 2014 Amazing game. Very happy to throw these guys $3. Best dual stick shooter I've played. uFinKnow Well-Known Member Feb 5, 2014 326 0 16 #30 uFinKnow, Oct 2, 2014 The original hasn't left my iPad since release. One of my favorite games ever. Can't wait to check this out. Cheers Radian games. It's just too bad none of the Radiangames have GFX that can compare to the old Infinity Field. That one has warping, scaling and great explosions and special FX... in comparison all the Radiangames just look so... plain. What the heck... I'm still looking forward to getting it. psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,964 717 113 England #32 psj3809, Oct 2, 2014 Bought this last night and had a quick go, it looks great, controls work well, looking forward to getting further into it. Bit annoying the ad for one of their games appearing though as i nearly clicked on it. Not a huge issue but a 'little' annoying Vovin ð® Spam Police ð Nov 28, 2009 6,514 3 38 Germany #33 Vovin, Oct 2, 2014 Can't really add much to that. The game is outstanding, the controls work well (as in all Radiangames), especially the music is fan-tas-tic! The gameplay is totally smooth and the graphics and colours are vibrant and nice to look at. Everything is so crisp and clear. This is a true sequel and I say it's even better than Inferno+. Not really big changes, but it's the small things that make the difference. There's an add popping up every other hour, but it's for the devs other games, so I am really not annoyed. Especially Swarmer My least favorite part about the first one was that you only had one weapon and it made things repetitive, but this one solves that and then some, thanks to the more meaningful upgrades Vovin ð® Spam Police ð Nov 28, 2009 6,514 3 38 Germany #35 Vovin, Oct 2, 2014 Yeah, got instantly my #1 favourite weapon award. amusing Grace Well-Known Member Dec 23, 2008 1,685 8 38 Music, Muse, Magick Berlin, Germany #36 amusing Grace, Oct 2, 2014 I´m just 8 or nine levels in, but so far the level design feels great and already has that one-more-go feeling. Especially when you come to the point where you are forced to use missiles. Taking your thumb off the control pad and then hunting for a barely visible button or not being able to stop moving without wasting ammo is exhausting. You aren't even allowed to move the button to the right side of the screen, close to the firing controls. Very infuriating design in an otherwise great game. coolpepper43 ð® Spam Police ð Aug 31, 2012 4,615 7 38 On the toilet #39 coolpepper43, Oct 2, 2014 I just looked and to my surprise I own every single radian release except the Inferno series. The missile controls are the the thing I'm most unhappy about with the game. I end up using the "Move Off" option for touch controls, but it is frustrating not being able to sit still without firing missiles. I don't let you move the button to the right side because you need to be able to fire at the same time, but I'm certainly open to suggestions for improvements. It's a similar control scheme to JoyJoy, but I think it worked a little better (for touch screens) there because the attacks were more omni-directional. Also, sorry if the ads keep popping up. They should only ever appear once. Either way, I've turned them off completely. Luke (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
