Since all the hype about the iPad, I've pretty much stopped buying iPhone games. I am reluctant to buy a new iPhone game not knowing whether the same game will be released for the iPad for a few bucks more. Or if the game will be released as a "universal" app.

For example, I never bought NOVA. I assumed it would come out with an iPad version (so I am glad I waited.) I don't have an iPad yet--waiting for the 3G version--but I haven't bought very many iPhone games ever since I decided to get an iPad.

Anyone else waiting to see what the iPad brings?

    Australia, mate!
No. I've bought more iPhone games to reduce my temptation for the iPad.

... who would buy an iPad only version if they owned both? Wouldn't it be more logical to get the iPhone one, seeing as both can play them?

Not quite. I would probably consider Harbour master or flight control as they are very different to the iPhone version, graphically and gameplay.
