Hey folks, long time no post [I'm the guy who made Missile Cards, back in 2017]! I'm back with an intense and wacky new game that's coming out in January 2019. Would love to get some beta tester feedback. I'm running a limited Beta for the next few weeks. DUNKYPUNG is a deadly cute brutal bouncing action game for iOS . Bounce your way through EXTREMELY CHALLENGING, ever-shifting arenas filled with spinning saws, spring-loaded spikes, flame, and other super not friendly hazards! This game is STUPID HARD, but it's totally beatable. The gauntlet has been thrown. The game features: DEATH. So much death. DEATH HUGS. Brush close to deadly things without dying to boost your score. DEADLY BOSSES. Be annihilated over and over again, but love it! ME SAYING “DEATH.” Like. A lot. I recorded 40+ different death voices. And some other stuff? Here's a trailer: And a few screenshots: Want to help test the Beta? You can do that right here. There are a limited number of slots and the beta will end in late December. Also, there's more info about the game on my blog. Thanks. Let me know what you think! -Nathan
Getting some really positive and useful feedback so far. Still looking for Beta testers! Also, the next few updates I'm pushing out should make the first level a lot easier to beat (so far nobody who's written in has been able to beat LV 1, which is the easiest level! Adding a casual mode that gives you 3 lives (you respawn at the start of the wave you died on). As well as more difficulty tuning across the board and some other fixes. Thanks for your help so far, everyone!
BETA TESTERS -- Quick fix for the v1.0.6 bug in DUNKYPUNG (beta) -- IF you run into not being able to continue/quit when you level up, just clear your save data (leftover from previous build saves). That clears it and lets you progress normally again. Version 1.0.6 has a LOT of big changes in it that make the game easier in casual mode, while also improving a lot of the UI and overall progression. Thanks! -Nathan
Hello all, just a heads up that I'll be winding down the BETA pretty soon, as I'm getting closer to buttoning everything for release next month! Thanks everyone for your help, and if you still want to test the game, there's still another week or so before I shut it down. Thanks!
Thanks everyone for your help and for checking out the Beta! I've made a bunch of adjustments based-on everyone's feedback and I'll be launching VERY SOON on January 8th!
