Finally beat D500 on Trial 10! I'm up to lv.700 or so and gobbling up trial cards and still going strong, but I imagine that I'll hit an unexpected rout further up the road. My strategy is Marielle spamming her 10MP cure-all+buff+debuff suite. I have a ring of battle rooms surrounding a dynamite+meteor shower set-up. Hatcheries all along the side; ice arrow/pits/storm traps with one (soon to be two) necropolises at the front. I like meteor storm and dynamite as a build. It works well with Tania for her burn/fire skills and it works well with Marielle because her slows increase the meteor damage. You can farm these two rooms up in lower difficulties and then bring them with you rather easily after that once you have the facility succession. I like to put them in a line directly running from the dark lord's room: 3 Giants, Dynamite, Meteor Shower. Surround the meteor storm/dynamite rooms with your battle rooms because it will hold monsters in place for the AOE detonation of both meteor/dynamite. Try to get monsters with burn attacks (Ifrit Girl, Lava Golem, etc.) along the way. Meteor ups an enemy's burn by a lot, then the dynamite turns it into pure damage on a percentage basis. [[I think the Electric Short + Lightning Bomb rooms will work similarly well in the future, but we don't have a shock Dark Lord yet and few to no monsters really up shock either.]] It's pretty stable so far -- I also cleared the Trial 8 quest to fight 500 battles without monsters reaching the Dark Lord dungeon, etc. Good luck everyone! ------- Some more tips for those trying to clear top-end content: * Don't be afraid to go back into easier difficulties to harvest special rooms if you have the pathways for them. Before my successful Trial 10 run, I went back to Trial 7 (i.e. one entrance) and built up my meteor shower and dynamite rooms. You can use "easy" runs to also chase dark stones by going after random quests: i.e. don't use the quest button until lv.500 or save up to 10000 gold, etc. * This may seem obvious but I made the mistake: If you're using necropolises at the front, put wimpy low-level guys in there. I like low-level goblins for their pickpocket ability. They're supposed to die early to give everyone else protection, but in previous runs I'd level them up with hatched monsters just for the sake of it. If they die 50 attacks later, your front line is already stripped down. Oops. * If harvesting hatchery-built monsters, learn the best abilities and select for those. My favorites: Executioner, Mystic One, Sandstorm, Earthquake, Foresight, Overspeed, Absolute Barrier, and Magic Barrier. Once you can eyeball those (and any other favorites you have), you'll be giving those special skills at a 50% chance to whomever you upgrade because monsters cannot pass along their first species-specific skill and so they'll only have two other skills to pass on at random. [You can actually see the result if you go to the "choose your merge preference" screen! For min-maxers, you could back out of the merge if you don't like the results. I only do this for my six-star monsters.]

I have done that Achivement with my ~lv.80 White Fang (Bigger Fight +800%, ~280 Immortality with Black Cat Statue and 1hp (sometime she can dealing up to 16-17m damage with those setup, and i'm still wondering how could she do that).

Reached lv.1000 on Trial 10! This mix of Marielle full team heal + 16 battle rooms and 8 traps seems to work well against a variety of situations. (The most dangerous boss battle for me has been at 800~900? where trap activation was capped. Reflect damage bosses can also be dangerous to my build.) After this run peters out, I'll probably take a break from the game until there's an update. I'll let you know what number I reach before I bite it. EDIT: aaaand that number is 1040. Whoa, a bunch of ninjas exploded out of the woodwork and kicked my butt. =D I earned 610 dark stones in that run. I'll see you at the next update. Good luck everyone!
Cool game! I have some questions: 1. The Solitude Battle Room says it gives bonuses based on adjacent rooms. Does that include rooms that are diagonal to it? 2. The elite angels final battle around d300 wreck my face every time. Does their Divine Brilliance ability remove burn? Not sure what the best strategy is against them, I can't seem to stop their constant health gain, so they swamp all my battle rooms and kill me 3. I think my main criticism is that I can go long stretches without finding any of the rooms or monsters I need to combine. I pulled an upgrade that reduced the frequency of 1 star equipment, is there a similar upgrade for rooms? 4. Equipment in general just doesn't seem very good. Am I wrong in that assessment? 5. I love the graphics for all the characters and monsters but so much of the game gets covered up in special effects that you don't get to really see alot of it. Is there a place to see more of the pixel art?

For example, Sun Seeker. 5. I love the graphics for all the characters and monsters but so much of the game gets covered up in special effects that you don't get to really see alot of it. Is there a place to see more of the pixel art? ->Options allow you to view pixel art through the index. According to developer comments, a dedicated booklet for animated pixel art is one of update plans.

XD The next update (1.4.0) will include a new Dark Lord, Dark Lord Skin, Challenge Mode, Convenience features. - Dark Lord Lilith will be strengthened. New debuffs such as "betrayal" and "obedience" are added for lilith. - Challenge mode is a game mode in which challenges are set with several penalties without succession. New Updates are preparing the Leader-Board, achievement, compensation for each challenge mode only. - New Updates will add 'ban features' as a convenience. Monsters / Facilities / Equipment / Artifacts (?) could be 'prohibited' to prevent the 'Overlapping' appearance. (To prevent the same thing from appearing constantly.) - Once the above update is done in advance and the stabilization work on it has been completed, thereafter, the update on the fallen heroes will follow. - In the Fallen Hero Update you will capture heroes and have them perform various tasks.
