I mean, does it cost more to publish a game worldwide? Or is it a political thing? I'm genuinely curious. I play it on my iPad3 and have beaten it at the highest difficulty setting without many problems. I'm sure controls won't suit everyone, but for me they are excellent for a touch screen. The game was worth $5 when I got it on launch day, so $1 is a no-brainer. Levels can be cleared differently each time so some nice replay. Not sure about the controls question but there's enough quality showing that a buck seems like an easy investment. I think I might keep this aside until the 6+ dream comes true. Or I might fire it up on the iPad, not sure yet. And no IAP, easy purchase! TheOutlander Well-Known Member Apr 15, 2014 820 0 16 #12 TheOutlander, May 7, 2015 Well, it's kind of unique in that regard, maybe Mark of the Ninja could be described as similar, however that doesn't fit at least with me, this is a Metroidvania Stealth game. Exact-Psience Well-Known Member Jan 12, 2012 22,664 2 38 The Work-At-Home Guy Philippines #13 Exact-Psience, May 7, 2015 The platforming can be comparable to Prince of Persia Shadow and the Flame, but the combat is hugely different. This has the standard shooting and upclose attacks, and it also has a cover shooter mode if ever you find a cover you can duck into. The exploration is a huge highlight here too. Lots of stuff to find, and the game boasts randomly generated stages. HarryWarden Well-Known Member Aug 22, 2012 427 0 0 #14 HarryWarden, May 7, 2015 Does this have stealth elements at all? CookingPie Well-Known Member Mar 25, 2014 177 0 16 #15 CookingPie, May 7, 2015 After all the comments saying how fun the game is - here and on its main TA thread, I bought it. I won't get a chance to find out if I agree though for quite a while as I also bought Monument Valley & GTA San Andreas & Lego Star Wars (original trilogy iap), and busy trying to solve the puzzles in "hook" which I got for free. Oh well- hope you were all right about this one. Tra-la-la Exact-Psience Well-Known Member Jan 12, 2012 22,664 2 38 The Work-At-Home Guy Philippines #16 Exact-Psience, May 7, 2015 It has. Enemies get alerted when they see you, and some will call in to increase defcon level in which it forces you to go through the rest of the stage on a timer. You can hide out of sight and perform silent kills as well. As far as I remember (I think it was stated in the original game thread when it came out), it's not distributed by Sony directly, but by one of their sub-companies. This forces them to distribute it only in those countries where that sub-company has physical and/or legal presence. Unfortunately, that means that in some countries it will never get published. In this case it has nothing to do with political decisions nor censorship... If I had to compare gameplay with another game, I'd say Mirror's Edge plus guns minus auto-running. There's strategy, stealth (can't make a level 100% on stealth though) and level randomization. I love it. trazer Well-Known Member Nov 14, 2013 141 0 0 #19 trazer, May 8, 2015 It looked cool on appshopper so I purchased it before I even found this thread, glad to hear it will be a good game though!
