Well it's a bit ambiguous but the eye icon left top stands for enemy, as the flame stands for torch, or the thief mask for stealth.
Would it be possible to add a second way to play the cards/path to make it a smoother experience? Like drawing the path you want to play as opposed to tapping each card separately and then having to hold down your character card to confirm, which seems a bit clunky/slow? My suggestion would be drawing the line through the cards and then releasing your finger at the end of the path confirms your choice. If you draw a path and then decide not to continue, you would simply back track (not releasing finger). Similar to Dungeon Raid mechanics.
Congratulations on the 5 star review. http://toucharcade.com/2017/03/22/card-thief-review-it-eventually-stole-my-heart/ Well done!
Anyone having problems connecting to the server on the daily heist? I completed it with a score that would have put me in the top 5 today, it spent a long connecting to the server and then when I went to look at the scores again it made me replay the level. C'est la vie.
I have never been so sad. Do you think it's a possibility to get rid of the two move requirement if you're right next to the exit? Not sure if this is something you've played around with in testing before. I seem to be at a dead end due to the hand I was played. Can't even make myself die because I can only select one enemy before my path is cut due to capturing
They both play very different from each other. No reason not to get both. If you only want to get 1 at a time get Card Thief first.
Thanks xD i already have solitairica though, i think card thief looks good, but still need more info on the game xD
Same thing happened to me today. I think the two-card requirement should stay. The game gives you plenty of information to know when you're approaching the exit (i.e., how many cards are left in the deck, displayed at the top of the screen). However, you should be able to intentionally be caught instead of having to exit/restart from the pause menu.
Questions about equipment quests, possible spoilers: Spoiler 1. Warden does not drop treasure, doesn't it? If it does, how? 2. Using blackjack on 3 enemies when the initial value is 2? Am I missing something? TIA
I may have noticed a bug For the second upgrade for blinding powder, it asks you to steal 10 treasures from a blinded enemy. I've tried everything; making sure that the treasure is in the light, blinding all guards in view of the treasure, finishing the turn by stealing the treasure, etc., over 20 times, and yet I'm not getting the upgrade.
Yeah, same...all the upgrade quests are quite vague and esoteric, which I like...except this one. I mean...what constitutes treasure? The only treasure I know about is the chest...and enemies don't grab it ever.... One thing I haven't though to experiment with is...when you sneak attack from behind and their gold value turns yellow....hmmm...come to think of it...this may be what it's talking about. We shall see. Otherwise, this one in Particular is a tough one.
I've just tested the theory about the upgrade requirement being about stealing from guards. Stole 10 gold worth from blinded guards who were in the shadows, but the upgrade requirement hasn't been met for me. I think this theory is correct because the wording mentions treasures rather chests and the word steal is also pretty self-evident. This is probably just a bug. If it is, I hope the dev can figure out the problem and address this issue in the next update.
And I still don't get: Spoiler Getting a Sneak card illuminated with value greater than zero. I am wondering how come a sneak card illuminated can ever have a non-zero value...
