I found that it was better to always use his gun so you don't take as much damage. Also, when you get a giant ball of units, standing in the middle of them and maybe activating your first ability is great because of the buff. Then just spam airstrike and be patient. Now onto Goblocks... oh dear Myndflame Well-Known Member Apr 18, 2013 622 0 0 #725 Myndflame, Mar 26, 2014 I find Zom 5 as gobs significantly easier. They aren't as light as Block Men are, and since you'll be 80% done anyway, you gain access to their most powerful weapons (Disintegrator Cannon, Growth Serum, Beast Block, etc.), and Da Boss is better for tanking the Brute at the beginning as well. You should also try using melee gobs as cannon fodder. Distractions can add a few precious seconds to your time before your defensive setup begins to get run down and possibly wrecked to shreds. Myndflame Well-Known Member Apr 18, 2013 622 0 0 #727 Myndflame, Mar 27, 2014 I have a couple of suggestions for Multiplayer Hero-Buff Balance: (Note that this all stemmed from a few days of multiplayer.) On terms of Blockbots: Implement a cap on Chargers buffing your heroes. It's quite unbalanced as how Chargers are, as I can sit there as either the Tank or Alpha, and effectively defend permanently with the enemy team(s) having absolutely no chance to get close enough before having their units one-shotted, or their heroes' faces destroyed in three shots. Strikers receive the biggest benefits from Chargers, as they can reach 'Hero Oneshot' levels far quicker than Tank or Alpha can. Multiple Chargers make this matter even worse. The Health increase also adds insult to injury. Even though Chargers require Tech 2 to place, a cap for the buffs on Multiplayer would make them reasonable and effective without making your hero essentially a 'IMBAFUSRODAHYOURFACE' of death. For Zomblocks: Nerf Radioactive's Transmutate ability to take only 45% damage done as healing, or make it to where Radioactive effectively is stunned or cannot attack for its duration. It's obvious enough, but the reason why, I shall state once again, is that as Transmutate stands, Zomblock players using Radioactive can activate this when they reach their enemy's base, effectively becoming invulnerable (For a pretty long time, too, I shall add), and acting as a meatshield while the summoned/spawned Zomblocks approach the opponent and begin to control the entire map. It is incredibly unbalanced, and is particularly rage-inducing when facing off a Radioactive user exploiting this tactic. These are two balance suggestions, but I feel that these should be implemented for a much better, and more rounded multiplayer experience. I've experimented with these tactics, and while they work great in single player, it essentially sends a massive warning to me about possible exploitation of these tactics. Again, these are for multiplayer only. In single player, who really cares? It works there without problems. Duivs Well-Known Member Apr 13, 2013 1,762 0 0 Guess what? Classified. I haven't even got the beast blocks or disintegrates or whatever it is you get when you get 80% What do people put on their tier 2/3 Goblocks? Right now I'm running shield, hammer, jump pack (and melee banner for tier 3) What do you recommend I use until I get 80%, and what do you recommend I use when I have everything unlocked? EtherNohow Member Dec 1, 2012 13 0 0 #729 EtherNohow, Mar 27, 2014 I find disintegrator and mass to work well for tier 2 EtherNohow Member Dec 1, 2012 13 0 0 #730 EtherNohow, Mar 27, 2014 Finally got it! I used tier 1 flamed and armor, tier 2 disintegrator and mass, and tier 3 growth serum hammer jump pack and shield (got that from explosive's video). I whittled down the tier 2 base with sky drop, and after that it was simple. Myndflame Well-Known Member Apr 18, 2013 622 0 0 #731 Myndflame, Mar 27, 2014 I used Disintegrator Cannon & Mass for T2, then Disintegrator Cannon, Mass, and Ranged Banner for T3. I got rid of the third barracks first before the second with that setup. It also wrecked the Overlord's introduction in that level as well.
