There is no level cap to be raised. I would love an extra trinket slot too, but some of the trinkets might have to be tweaked. For example, if we were allowed 4x trinkets, using all Codex of Jabe would reduce the CD on some spells to 0.
There's no level cap enforced right now, there just aren't any new skills beyond 30. The game was developed over the course of about 8-10 months. Fortunately we built it with expandability in mind, so additional maps, classes and enemies are relatively easy to add. I'm still really excited about the game in general and would like to continue supporting it with more content, whether that comes in the form of small free updates or massive paid DLC, we'll have to wait and see. It's been out for barely a week now, we're still kinda reeling, both from its success and from scrambling to polish the rough edges of the first release.
Hi MikaMobile, Great game but it still crashes ALOT on my iphone 4 im using 4.2 and it usually happens at the last boss fight. Also, one of my characters got pushed back behind the throne in that fight once.
@Mika Mobile: I know that there is nothing (at least officially) planned to play with or against other players, but it feels like a level cap of, let's say, 50 (I already have toons in that area and it loses sense to level further), would make perfectly sense (no offense to the ifile guys ) since arena high scores could be easily manipulated (if Game Center integration has been considered), plus it is hard to discuss tactics if all values just go crazy. Also, Game Center integration would be extremely awesome since BH offers many possibilities for achievements... ^.^
Think of the crashes as learning experiences to play more thoughtfully. I had no idea there were issues with crashing until I came across this thread. Either way, looks like an update is out so everyone wins.
Is it possible to change the game so that the progress of a fight isn't lost in a crash? I mean some kind of autosave every 5 seconds so that we don't have to do everything from the start.
That's probably the one of the longest iOS game review I've ever read. Noooo You guys really make it hard to think of a reason to not end up buying the game, with all the good comments, ratings, rave and hype that it's getting (and the fact that the game is universal, for me that's a huge plus). Shame on you! Clicking on Buy App, hopefully no crashes! I sort of hate when iTunes downloads apps slooowwwwww...
Ideas: A monsters lexicon with a brief description that emphaze their particular attributes. New class as: Necromancer (He casts spells to bring unliving fellows). Paladin (A inspired warrior combine to a healer). Shooter (His primary weapon is the crossbow and then you upgrade to gun)
when playing the second arena and trying to reach 130 kills it takes a while and an autosave would make sense when you crash at around 90 kills :/
Add-on content please; I don't mind paying as long as the price is fair. A space alien themed expansion would be gold.
You guys did a great job on the update! Edit: Except it is crashing still... Great game but needs some more bugs fixed. Edit #2: Now its crashing all the time on arena # 3, about 1 minute into the game. Am i doing something wrong?
Developer should perhaps consider adding an autosave every couple waves or so in Arena so crashing doesn't totally wipe out the effort?
Ok I'm getting killed over and over on the squeling bog. I have a wizard a healer and 2 damage guys but they can't defeat him. All are about lvl 6 except my wizard. Any ideas? Never mind got past it after posting. Wizard getting freeze to slow enemy helped with the madness. Great game.
Great game. Only a few crashes and one bug that I think led to one. When you change the large spider into a frog, both end up on the screen at the same time; happens almost every time for me.
For many RPGs, this one included, one possible answer to most "I need help on this boss" posts is to level up more. Unless you go out of your way to purposely make a bad decision, you can always circumvent inferior gear or party comps with higher levels.
