maybe...wait wait y more wait....next year...sucks. developed for one year.no full support ipt 2g..........is ridiculous. gameloft developed awesome games in some months and full support all gen devices......like spiderman, pop.
I know that there has been at least one second gen. tester of the second beta. And reportedly it worked fine. But since it wasn't extensively tested on second gens. they're saying that the version releasing on the sixteenth (hopefully) is not for second gen. And that they will be another version coming for the second gen. we are not neglected.
Yeah, I'm pleased about that too. There are 5 save slots. I think I remember Josh saying that there is no level cap.
Okay, but they don't really push the boundaries so much... They use the same engine more or less, and are a multi-million dollar company. So... don't hate because they didn't deliver a product to you, they have no obligation, and yet they are still fine tuning the game for 2nd gen, I think that's far more generous then what they have to do. Just as a side note. Gameloft NEVER makes their Apps universal, they always release an HD version about 1-2 months later, even MORE sometimes. So, I think the better developer is galoobeth and crescent, they tried really damn hard to put out the best and to make sure they have delivered a fine product. Don't hate, NEGOTIATE
agree in some points whit you friend. Gameloft NEVER makes their Apps universal, they always release an HD version about 1-2 months later, even MORE sometimes but same crescent moon aralon is universal game y not full support all devices.waiting for new version......sucks.
Just because CM cannot guarantee full support on older devices doesn't mean it won't work on them. In fact, iVaro (I think) has said a few times that the game worked fine on his iPod Touch 2G.
yea it does personally though, i would much rather wait a little longer and have a version that is definitely supposed to work on second gens. than to not have them support second gens. at all.
Gameloft has not made a game like Aralon. I've got nothing against Gameloft, but we're not talking about 4 hour linear game, or an open world game with fairly questionable graphics. And for the record, Crescent Moon has been working on Aralon about the same amount of time it takes Gameloft to make a game -- about 7 months. The game runs on 2nd Gen devices, but hasn't been tested enough on them. When they've throughly tested the 2nd gen version, they'll release it. Can't see what the problem is with that.
They should just do what Xenome did. Release it for upper gen then release an update so 2nd gen users can play.
Can the mage summon other elemental beings besides Fire? It'll be awesome if it could summon Water/Ice or Earth elemental beings
i bought xenome after it had been updated for second gen. it was to choppy to play, along with crashing allot.
LOL! don't mind arce,90% of his posts is "does this work on ipt 2nd gen?" or something like that, actually i'm surprised coz i thought he's just a bot anyway, looks like they're looking for full support for ipt2g and it seems possible.how about iphone 3g? or even my iPhone ancient? my brother didn't passed the ECE board exam so no IPT4 for us so i might just wait for Christmas if i'll get lots of money
that IS what they are doing Though 2nd GEN reports say it works fine. Also for all you forum-only readers, heres link to the front page hands on preview of Aralon http://toucharcade.com/2010/12/07/aralon-preview/ ENJOY!
