I understand from reviews the save system can be a little annoying as you can’t save that often. However does the game save when switching to something else and it’s closed by iOS? If it doesn’t then it’s a no go for me. I don’t want to have to replay a whole section because I need to take a call.
Isn't that quite rare with iOS games ? I play a ton of iOS games and i'm sure most don't do that, normally it still just stays in the background but theres no automatic saving or that. Most games seem to 'pause' if you go to another program or take a call
Ok just tried the game and wow I’m impressed the only drawback yes it’s a battery drainer and yes it’s a heater and when you save the game it takes forever
Been playing this on Xbox Series X, but have so many things I’m playing on it (Halo Infinite, FH5, etc.) that it always seems to get pushed to the side. Decided to double dip because I thought it would be even better (and scarier) close up and intimate. Something to play before bed and then have nightmares, lol.
Well just to note re the save, that must be device dependent. Saving on M1 iPad Pro takes hardly any time! Battery wise I’d say it’s just as expected! This is a FPS with great graphics and sound. Gotta expect it takes some power. I’ve not played it any other mode so far than full graphics with maximum draw distance. No worse than most other recent graphically good looking games.

I wasn’t interested until I saw it was Feral at the helm and then I bought it right away (after checking Steam reviews of game) Feral knows how to port a game to mobile that leaves me in awe! This game is so good on mobile it’s kind of hard to believe but here it is playing great on my iPhone 2020 se! Both this and GRID take up Home Page Real Estate on my phone!

Sorry about that comment I contacted support and I’ve had bad cell service on the sailboat that’s why the saving is taking longer for me anyone try it on WiFi on their devices? Is it faster on WiFi ?
Game plays beautiful on iPad Pro m1 11 does anyone else have this device are you able to test the save on WiFi my WiFi at home is 230 mbps does anyone get a similar connection ? Try alien isolation saving and report back to me
This is the first time I have played the game, never tried it, but my god it’s beautiful. It’s too intense for me, I haven’t even seen an alien yet lol. I am worried already about when I do! I would if bought this anyway to support Feral as they are top drawer… just hoping they start porting Batman games.
Hi, love the game very much, but when playing with touchcontrols, my thumb always covers the motiontracker, when activated. How do you solve this problem? I have a MFI-controller, but i like the touchcontrols more, because so i can move more precisely. Greetz Chris
Have you fiddled with moving/resizing the buttons in settings? They have really provided a wonderful level of detail in being able to customize the HUD/Control buttons. You can really change it up in there to your liking! I have moved the buttons to more comfortable positions as well as resized and reduced visibility to make more of the game visible. hope that helps!
weird. On my iPhone 20se it takes only seconds to save. Like 2-3 seconds (WiFi) And that’s becuz I have to verify each save. Otherwise, it’s instantaneous. so it’s more than likely something they can remedy with a patch for devices struggling with it.
I suspect he’s just confused by the PLEASE WAIT message that prevents you from saving right after saving.
