For those who already are fans of the iPhone version, the biggest changes that come to mind: -HD graphics! -Bigger playfield (so not simply a straight re-scale) with 4 power-ups in play at a time as opposed the previous 3 at least in the primary game mode. -Completely re-booted Gauntlet Mode: It now plays a bit like a Pacifistic version of Code Red. There are no weapon pods, just Blue Orbs to snag for points. Also worth noting is that the dots in this mode appear oblivious to you with one BIG exception. The vast majority of dots will simply spawn in various formations and move about in their predetermined flight paths. What is this exception I spoke of? Oh just the GIANT dagger, axes, and other dot made weapons that will constantly fly right at you from off screen. So while most dots will ignore you, in order to avoid the weapons and snag the Blue Orbs (initially green but will turn and remain blue for x3 the points if you can maintain the combo by hitting them in rapid succession), you'll need to constantly remain on the move! I far prefer this to the current iPhone Gauntlet Mode as you are no longer forced down a single track. Instead it becomes much more like you're involved in a deadly free form dance with the dots of doom (hence the tango music). I think this could be a truly great game on the iPad. 5jusername Well-Known Member Mar 10, 2009 1,650 1 0 School... Somewhere In The Universe #18 5jusername, Oct 6, 2010 I love this game! The graphics are really polished and the tilt controls aren't as hard as i thought they would be. I explored the game a bit and in the options there is a button that says "enter promo code". is this what i think it is? starmonkey101 Well-Known Member Oct 3, 2009 2,598 3 0 FLA, USA #19 starmonkey101, Oct 6, 2010 I liked the iphone version. but personally, i hate tilting games on my ipad. In some respect the iPad's greater bulk makes some of the subtle maneuvering even easier (if that even makes sense). (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
