To see the life of someone just by unpacking boxes in different places without ever seeing the person is genius. You start to make your own story, understand their character, their taste and what moves them from being a kid up to an old person. I hope the devs understand what a perfect formula they have. It blows my mind they didn‘t release DLC‘s or a second part really fast. To see the live of someone like John Wick-an assassin-just by unpacking his stuff would be much different. Or a millionaires kids who loses everything, gets drug addicted for some time until he makes it up again to a normal life could also be shown just through unboxing. There is so much more to tell if you really want with the game mechanic. But since 2 years nothing has changed in this game. I hope the devs start to understand, that the game could be much more than just a normal life. gaberaph likes this. I guess that disqualifies me from buying this game gaberaph Well-Known Member Feb 20, 2015 70 14 8 #5 gaberaph, Aug 24, 2023 This was a preorder instabuy for me, while then waiting like a lunatic for midnight to come so I can play literally my favourite go-to game to relax, genius in every way and highly recommended!!! While I would agree that in a few minor instances it feels to small for mobile, that feeling quickly goes (specially when I’m on a crowded train desperate to relax ) Really hope the devs will release some DLC or that in the very least they make a sequel! solarnya likes this. matyou98 Well-Known Member Jun 18, 2012 293 3 18 #6 matyou98, Aug 24, 2023 Two questions. Are the controls suited for touchscreen? Is this fine to play on a phone or is a bigger screen the better way to play? vectorarchitekt Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2013 2,489 177 63 #7 vectorarchitekt, Aug 24, 2023 Is this worth $10? Seems fun but when it comes to mobile games I prefer ones that are replayable. I assume this one is a story-driven one-time play through which I’m still willing to try if it’s long enough. gaberaph Well-Known Member Feb 20, 2015 70 14 8 #8 gaberaph, Aug 24, 2023 It’s a zen game, once you know the story you still end up replaying it, personally I’m on 8 or 9th play through, usually as I’m watching tv at night or in bed, seriously helps me unwind, but that isn’t for everyone, check out some gameplay on YT, may help you take the plunge! The story is what you make it, you can create the narrative based on what you see, or just take it as a zen game with no narrative, up to you I found the controls seamless and really intuitive, essentially tap and place or hold and drag! I installed it on my iPad and phone to try both out (coming from playing originally on pc with a normal screen) and personally I found the phone to be better, there’s a pinch to zoom feature but I hardly ended up using it. Then again I have a large phone so I guess it depends on that, if you’re screen is on the smaller end (like the iPhone mini), go for a tablet, but it’s subjective to what works for you solarnya and elcrazy like this. matyou98 Well-Known Member Jun 18, 2012 293 3 18 #9 matyou98, Aug 25, 2023 Appreciate the detailed response gaberaph. I purchased this zen game late last night and I am really enjoying. It plays very well on my iPad Mini 5. However it seems I have developed a unpackers block and for some reason I have not been able to figure out where it may go. I have tried every room over and over and still can't figure out a) what it is? and b) where it might go. At first I thought it might be a internet modem. But I'm just not sure. Bellow is item in question (highlighted in red). Thank you in advance for any help/suggestions. In this case, I believe those are a black pair of folded socks, so dump them in a drawer in the closet and you should be good to go new_ipodtouch5G_owner likes this. elcrazy Well-Known Member Sep 19, 2017 707 562 93 #16 elcrazy, Aug 27, 2023 Looks like rolled up socks or underwear. WOW! Kind of embarrassed about this. I guess I may have been starring at the screen longer than I should have. Ghostdog1 Well-Known Member Jan 30, 2015 319 125 43 #18 Ghostdog1, Sep 3, 2023 It‘s truly a shame the devs won‘t do any Dlc or second part of this nice game formula. (They write about it on steam.) After playing it I feel like the devs didn‘t really understand how much deeper they could have gone with this. I mean the game is ok with the personal story of one of the female developer - but for me a story about gender and illness is just too normal nowadays. We can only hope some other game company just shamelessly copies the game formula and makes the game and Dlc we all hope for. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
