Writing is top-notch, but it’s Inkle, so you already knew that. Can’t wait to dive deeper. Fair warning though. Noticing some device heating on iPhone 12. That’s a bit disappointing, knowing the scale of the game and the past history of Inkle games. Hope it’s improved with future patches. Overall, it’s Inkle and they’re trying something new. So I’m excited to see how it all pans out. Especially the replaying mechanic. That has me intrigued. Sadly, have to keep my sessions short due to the heating. Still, you were right earlier…there’s really nothing that should be putting this much strain on the battery. I hope it gets sorted out, but I’m SO glad I took a chance with this. The update is mainly to raise the difficulty of a few characters so it’s harder to fool them. Honestly, I’m giving up on the game. Had about 7 runs. Wanted to get the insurance and escape but the heating is just not worth it. It’s just sad that such premium games are not tested well before releasing. Probably why F2P games do better overall than paid games. Most of the times you’re basically going in blind when purchasing a mobile game.
