Doesn’t have great story, kinda empty open world, zombies running to you on every screech(thanks, stealth system), the urge to walk crawling(thanks again), radiation here and there, antirad pills that you need to swallow like candies, no explorer mode, no hunger, no logic in what hero do. Disappointed. psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,971 722 113 England #3 psj3809, Aug 9, 2018 Doesn’t sound too positive ! Downloading now though as it sounds the game I like ! We still at least appreciate honest opinions. The truth is we can't even make the games we want any more, these are the games we can afford to make. All I can tell is we tried to deliver the best we could with very limited resources. Unfortunately we are going very fast into the free-to-play only universe where this kind of games have no place any more, not on mobile at least. Luckily for you and the rest of the audience annoyed by what we we try to accomplish and what we consider vaguely challenging and entertaining this is probably the last 1st person experience from us. (I actually had to do animations this time, and yea, that's not in my resume). Another aspect is the consumer usually just gets everything for granted, but there is some serious struggle behind everything, even this forum and it's platform, check this out to get a glimpse into the industry state of affairs: https://toucharcade.com/2018/08/01/apple-kills-the-app-store-affiliate-program-and-i-have-no-idea-what-we-are-going-to-do/ I am just trying to say that sometimes the world around forces us to just make as much as we can with very little and it's usually plainly against you. We are small, we don't have hordes of marketers or opinion makers to praise our products. This is probably the best we could do with a handful of people and limited time and a very grim view of the future, yea the game is rather depressive because we are too... but hey, they do call this art in some places cheers! It’s really too bad that 90% of mobile gamers have no problem going out spending 3, 4, 500 on a new console system every 5 years then go out and spend60+ dollars on games constantly but can’t shell out 5-20 on a premium experience on mobile platforms. If Nintendo wasn’t Nintendo the switch would have failed right after it released, because it’d be considered mobile and everyone would bitch about spending what they spend on games. Radiation series is fun and it could have been on par with ANY fps you find on ps4 or xbox one if people weren’t so cheap and weren’t so Whiny about touch controls. It’s not perfect but it’s way more convenient then a controller. Most fps using touch offer aim assist which yes it reduces the difficulty of a game but as a gamer for over 25 years, rage games are overrated, you make something that’s got a decent story, has decent length in overall playtime, and allows me to kill things topped off with some blood and guts and you got yourself a great game it doesn’t matter if it’s easy or hard, but I can understand some people like rage games and some people like games so easy it plays itself. But that’s what difficulty settings are for. It’s too bad you’re being forced out. But know there’s at least 1 mobile gamer that’s supported you and doesn’t blame you for the quality/quantity of your recent game. I haven’t played yet but I assure you when my mom stops making me pack and rearrange her house long enough for me to sit and play I will buy this game. Good luck on future endeavors and hopefully if you do go f2p you guys are able to do it right. The free to try model is actually starting to pick up momentum finally, which is funny since that’s the OG model (we’re talking free demos with the purchase of your favorite video game magazine each month). Anyways, and creating a big game in smaller chapter chunks and selling those individually ala Telltale and Square Enix (ffd, ff15) but either way, after October 1st smaller indie companies are in danger with the death of the affiliate program, first TA, appshopper, appsliced will all shutdown and then the only place to find games is to search through apples terrible store for them.
