I'm a HUGE fan of the original Double Dragon on Game Boy, so this could have been utter horse poop and I would have loved it, but by the time the platforming elements halfway through kicked in (that insanely dumb spinning thing you can see in the PS4 trailer, specifically), I was done. Repetition, boring level design, weird hitboxes, leaps of faith...I could live with all that, but shit platforming segments just for the sake of them? Nope. Or would it be good for my mental health not to play them in iOS? Classics are wonderful. But Portation may be a different matter. psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,971 721 113 England #5 psj3809, Jan 24, 2018 Well the originals are the best by Dot Emu. This one was quite interesting but I wasnt keen as its zoomed out a bit. But the games by dot emu are superb as theyre proper conversions. Their version of r-type is great for iOS (You must log in or sign up to post here.) Show Ignored Content Share This Page Tweet Your name or email address: Do you already have an account?
