Your ordinary gems and coins? Maelwolf Well-Known Member Mar 18, 2016 134 1 18 #9 Maelwolf, Mar 1, 2017 I love Dofus, Wakfu, Krosmaster, etc., and this game is fairly fun. However, man can matches drag on. There doesn't seem to be a clock, and you can have a long battle of attrition only to finally get lucky/unlucky hitting a real or fake objective. It can lead to anticlimactic finishes, which are fine for quick games, but less so for ones as time consuming as this. solarnya Well-Known Member Jul 22, 2015 907 287 63 Male Close to Tokyo, Japan #10 solarnya, Mar 1, 2017 not in JP store# gonif Well-Known Member Feb 19, 2013 149 0 0 #11 gonif, Mar 1, 2017 A lot of fun, though I can see how IAP could give an advantage over time to paying players. Like any other such card game, those who pay more have access to more/better cards. There are a couple of crucial issues that need fixing. Opponent cards play too fast to read what they are (and you'll ruin your eyes trying to read card text on iPhone screens anyway). This was no doubt done to maintain the pacing of the game. However, opening up the turn history to see what your opponent did does NOT pause the timer. I'm sure this is swell for the twitchy online opponent who didn't take his ADHD meds, but speed should always be second to game play. Let the type-A twits go play speed chess in the park. (And don't get me started on how THAT idea ruined chess...) Jeez. When did I start sounding like Abe Simpson? I'm too young to start shaking my fist at whippersnappers! Like hearthstone the more money you spend the more cards you get. You place cards (units) down on the board that slowly move towards your opponent's side. You are trying to destroy 2 of your opponent's "dofus" (egg-like objects) at the end of your opponents side of 5 lanes. However, there are 2 fake dofus that you may end up destroying instead. This delays your ability to win because you have to search out the real dofus. It can lead to some frustratingly long games. The only IAP is for gold to buy packs. If you are buying the most expensive type of pack, it translates to roughly 3 bucks a pack. Not too expensive compared to other card games but not cheap either! I think it's great and rewards the f2p player who consistently plays. A definite download for CCG and tactics game fans! gonif Well-Known Member Feb 19, 2013 149 0 0 #14 gonif, Mar 1, 2017 Also, avoid the Dungeon. It costs gold to try the dungeon each time, and the AI there has unbelievably powerful cards. They really shouldn't charge for that. Or heavily nerf the AI's deck there. Had a bug whereby I tried to play a card wrongly and it froze the game. Also, I suspect rush decks will do very well. gonif Well-Known Member Feb 19, 2013 149 0 0 #18 gonif, Mar 1, 2017 Somewhere on these forums is an incredibly crotchety 85 year old, just completely full of hate, constantly muttering curses under his breath, his lip permanently curled in disgust at all the injustices he must suffer like DLC, software subscriptions, BIOS whitelists, f2p games, etc. I want to meet this glorious b*****d, for he is my future. gonif Well-Known Member Feb 19, 2013 149 0 0 #19 gonif, Mar 1, 2017 Agreed, it's far too buggy. Played my first RANKED game and I had to forfeit because I suddenly couldn't pick up or select any cards. They just "jiggled" briefly. I can't play any games against real opponents if matches can be lost due to bugs. And, since playing against people is the only way to earn any rewards or progress further in the game, I'm forced to delete it for now.
