BlackEyedGamer Active Member Sep 15, 2016 34 1 0 #3 BlackEyedGamer, Nov 10, 2016 I can only talk from the PC point of view but the first impression of this game is TOUGH AS NAILS. There are only two controls - one to shoot right (for enemies), and one to shoot down to push yourself up. There's a definite weight to the shooting down mechanic, and while controls are responsive as responsive can be, you have to plan ahead to get enough momentum to push yourself up - so timing can (and will) be an issue for some. That's the reason while your character is so far to the left and, get it wrong, you can easily be pushed off the screen, resulting in a restart. For those who worry, it's checkpointed quite generously but be prepared to see those restarts a lot. Addendum - it sounds bloody fantastic... ;-) Duke12 Well-Known Member Oct 25, 2013 1,021 43 48 #4 Duke12, Nov 10, 2016 Someone seems to like it https://www.engadget.com/2016/11/10/rungunjumpgun-ios-android-preview-interview/ Emeritus-III Active Member Oct 22, 2016 32 0 0 #5 Emeritus-III, Nov 10, 2016 That article has me putting the finger on the buy-button.. not really sure if I'll press it just yet Snooptalian Well-Known Member Sep 12, 2009 1,936 8 38 #6 Snooptalian, Nov 10, 2016 Does this have Game Center leaderboards or achievements? jbsib Well-Known Member Oct 4, 2011 213 0 0 #7 jbsib, Nov 10, 2016 Is the amaranthon mode endless? Yep, this game is tougher than tough, imho. I def have to invest some time to get used to the characters (heavy) weight, the important momentum and the shooting mechanic. You can't always fire straight ahead and jump/fly. Both of your thumbs are very active! But i already say the controls feel great and very responsiv. Enough checkpoints also...if you reach them, lol, but the replay is fast. The colorful art work and music are amazing. Well, if you can handle another pixelated game. *cough* sorry Devs, besides "you really found no better name for your game?" it also says RunGunJu... under the icon. And there is NO screen orientation (home button left on my iphone 7). I'm glad i've supported the Devs a little with my buy, but at the same moment i can't really recommend it to all of you folks. Ya it's hard but not even close too other games I've played. I was worried about the difficulty expecting super hexagon difficulty but to me it's spot on to my liking. I am not sure how difficult it gets further in the game but trying to get all of the coins in each level is going to be very challenging. The controls clicked with me right away. From what I've played, which isn't that much so far it's a recommend. I can tell this game is going to be a complete blast!
