Rather than stacking up high scores and running towards the end of each level, you get to roam freely in an open world and explore caves, swamps, temples, pirate ships and more. You collect objects along your way, solve puzzles and talk to NPCs, all while being wrapped inside the platform gameplay mechanism we all have to come to love since the golden era of 8-bit computers and consoles. THE PLOT Benjamin has built a spectacular flying machine to take him and his friends around the world. During one of the first flight sessions something goes wrong. The youngsters have no choice but to parachute themselves to safety. After an exhausting swim Alex, Paul and Stella end up on a distant island. Barehanded and with no trace of Benjamin. GAME FEATURES * Non-linear gameplay: Explore the island freely * Non-destructive gameplay: When failing, you're simply thrown back to the overview map instead of losing all progress * Interact with characters, trade tools and help each other * Collect items to your inventory * Solve puzzles * Battle enemies & bosses Supports MFi Controllers and ION Arcade Controllers. Despite exploring above ground and underground in the first level, one does not save the man in the cage. Also, in the second level, any progress forward is cut off by fire that needs to be extinguished with no materials that can help (totem pole and anthill). Methinks one has to traverse levels to and fro in order to complete the side-missions. Is my read on-point or am I missing something? I've picked up several items and wasted several coins trying to get to areas where I shouldn't have been lol. Thought I was going crazy redribbon Well-Known Member Jun 11, 2010 2,799 53 48 entepreanur, programmer #17 redribbon, Sep 20, 2016 i dont think i like this game. i've played more than half hour but i still cant get the main purpose of this game. yes i agree with coledaddy that this is not your regular linear game, but at least they can give some clue of what we have to do. at the start you will see enemies that you cant do anything with them, jump on it does nothing, so i go through until i have banana, throw them at enemies also does nothing. also got totem and finished through the level one and now go to the world 2 which nothing you can do here because there is a bunch of fire that you can't get through. so i continue to world 3, back and forth from world 1 to world 3 to search in case i missed something in those world and finally i lost interest in this game. too bad, it might be a great game but to be honest it doesn't compared to TnG. dont take my word on it since i just played for an hour most, but this is my very initial impression. might asked for refund if i can.
