Both involve buying and placing tiles from a market, however the way the tiles interact with each other, and the way players interact is what differentiates the games. When playing in person Suburbia can become a bit complex when trying to consider some of the interactions amongst the tiles, especially in a 4 player game towards the end. Ludwig is considered to be the simpler of the two with increased player interaction. currymutton Well-Known Member Oct 16, 2008 4,430 1 0 #5 currymutton, May 25, 2016 Suburbia digital version is a piece of train wreck. Mulitplayer is definitely broken, and the single player is still plagued with bugs wasting a very interesting IP But I am happy to report that CoMKL is a much better deal. No crash, no game-stopping bugs, a long but quite details tutorial set. A single player campaign and individual matches against AI. The only gripe is that there is only pass-and-play. Pocket Tactics gives it 4/5 stars BGG has an interview with the developer (note the singular). If you love such game, this is a must-buy. mzinn Well-Known Member Jan 5, 2014 770 0 16 #6 mzinn, May 25, 2016 Agree completely about Suburbia. I've still got it on my iPad but everytime I boot it up & play I dump out. Glad to hear this is more what I've been wanting. klink ð® Spam Police ð Jul 22, 2013 1,617 0 0 No thank you USA https://twitter.com/BitGamerX #7 klink, May 25, 2016 That funny because I don't have an issue with Suburbia playing the campaign or in multiplayer. ojtitus Well-Known Member Jul 7, 2010 3,228 5 38 Male Canton, Ohio #8 ojtitus, May 25, 2016 I really enjoy both games for what they are and I only play single player offline games, so these work for me. mzinn Well-Known Member Jan 5, 2014 770 0 16 #9 mzinn, May 25, 2016 Hmmm. I own the board game version, and this is very faithful. Not EVERY game needs to have online multiplayer for 5-stars, but this game feels empty without it. You just let me know it was single player, too, but then jumped the price back up before I could buy it. No, I'll wait on the $7 price tag... Sorry, but thanks anyway...
