Granted I've only played a few hours but so far it's rad. OrangutanKungfu Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2015 1,011 0 0 Media UK #3 OrangutanKungfu, Mar 16, 2016 What's the IAP like? Is it a one-time unlock the full game kind of thing? Really enjoyed Tales of Eternia on PSP. Not the deepest RPG, but great fun. Good combat system too. chaos_envoys Well-Known Member Jan 1, 2011 1,330 0 36 Medical Doctor Pokke Village, Indonesia #4 chaos_envoys, Mar 16, 2016 IKR! Tales of Eternia is my favorite!! That pain to get Cless' Eternal Sword.. even now I still play it on my ppsspp Anyways, any more imps about the iaps on this? bolony Well-Known Member Mar 20, 2014 48 0 0 #5 bolony, Mar 16, 2016 IAP's are similar to all the other hero/monster collecting games. Spend money to get in game currency to summon heroes. There are several different types of currencies so you build a good team without spending cash. This is actually an older game that's finally being released in English. I think it was originally playable in the international market in 2013 or 2014. Unfortunately, there's also mods since this is an older game. There are newbie accounts that already have the 6* special event dungeon summon. This dungeon was meant for end game players. The special dungeon gives out loads of gold and points to use to level up units. Not a knock on the game, but it sucks to know your team is going to suck compared to theirs. It won`t win any Game Awards but it`s nice to see that Namco Bandai did consider translate it for the rest of the world too. It`s always Online so you are warned!. geno11233 Well-Known Member Nov 29, 2013 1,054 0 0 #8 geno11233, Mar 17, 2016 When is the u.s release? OrangutanKungfu Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2015 1,011 0 0 Media UK #9 OrangutanKungfu, Mar 17, 2016 Ah, shame. I just want a good, offline Tales experience, with a one-time purchase, like most of the Square Enix RPGs. This might not be for me. C'mon, Namco. (Might look at ppsspp instead...) valariel Well-Known Member Feb 19, 2011 90 0 0 #10 valariel, Mar 17, 2016 Account reset Any idea if account can be resetted? Sash-O Well-Known Member Feb 13, 2015 1,570 0 0 Germany #11 Sash-O, Mar 17, 2016 I want the real Link on iOS! ### Talaen Well-Known Member Aug 3, 2012 112 0 16 #12 Talaen, Apr 6, 2016 Tales of Link English release is out now... While it is full of usual FTP elements I find the characters and mini story lines wrapped around quests and events make it more enjoyable. It also doesn't hurt that right now I'm leveling at such a pace that I have yet to experience any shortage of energy (which fully restores when your main character/account levels). This is ultimately a "match 3" game (although you can only match one) but all of the elemental affinities, combos, skills (active and passively triggering) have made gameplay quite enjoyable so far.
