Weird it uses a virtual currency (gold) to buy Expansions. 90 dollars to buy all of them in 1 hit. Don't think I can resist! Not sure if you earn any of the gold by playing campaign but I won the first level (on my first attempt muahaha) and didn't get any gold so seems not. The thought of raking in millions of dollars a week through worthless in app currencies is just too tempting. Yet most will crash and burn anyway. I'm not sure if that's the case here, but it's a shame to see that this approach may have been taken for what was no doubt an important game. Missed opportunity if it turns out to be the case. I could play it but I won't bother for that fact alone. I mean, what if the* Zombie Apocalypse strikes and all the power goes down across the world? If I wanted to take a break from getting chased and bitten every once in a while by hiding in a back storeroom playing my favourite game, I couldn't cause I need a constant internet connection which would make the game useless. *Insert any scenario here that consists of no internet.
