They are known for their 10-foot tall battle mechs known as Leviathan Battle Suits. Once designed for high-pressure environments and exploring gas giants and deep space, these mechs have now been modified for war. Templars descend from a Zendu bloodline -- a unique heritage that gives them the ability (with proper training and ritual) to pass all of memories from their lives (and any memories passed down by their ancestors) to a newborn child. This memory gift is known as a Templar’s Lineage – and it is what gives Templars their immense advantage in combat, tactics, engineering, and the ability to drive hulking Leviathan Battle Suits. You will take on the role of a Templar Captain who hails from a storied Lineage reaching back 87 Templars -- and who pages back through the memories to help cope with the dire situation at hand. With the Great Exodus coming to an end, the Star Traders founded new colonies on the few remaining habitable worlds. The Templar Knights are called upon once again to defend the Star Traders and their new colonies from an ancient threat. = WHO WE ARE = Trese Brothers Games is a premier indie game developer of desktop and mobile RPG and strategy games. It sounds like a fanboy answer, because it is: their game design is tight without being minimalist, deep without being redundant, and while I'll admit that graphically they're not making leaps and bounds, it's part of the reason why their games are good. Enough eye candy to make it not a focus, but a part of the design philosophy. What I love about their business philosophy is that they do demos, free to try and pay premium to unlock full game. No ads, no premium currency, none of that bull sh*t. Old school approach. Great customer service to boot, admittedly as long as you ask for it via e-mail or the official thread. fallen Well-Known Member Nov 22, 2012 812 149 43 Boston http://www.tresebrothers.com #16 fallen, Oct 27, 2015 Hi - we are the Trese Brothers. The game includes random elements, and some of those are levels that are switching the spawning / attack vectors as the level progresses (you were defending this front, now the AI takes another tact). There are also other active elements like Spawning Pit monsters that you can kill, and when they are dead they shut off the spawn point under them, so you have control over parts of the "spawn map" per se. I hope you enjoy the game, and thanks for your support! houseofg Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Oct 1, 2013 1,611 82 48 #19 houseofg, Oct 27, 2015 THAT'S why they sounded familiar. Hope it doesn't come off as too shill-y lol. I get what you're saying without drawing unnecessarily litigious comparisons. 45 missions is a lot, and y'all usually pump out fairly reasonably priced IAP, not to mention tweak the hell out of the game, so I'm not too worried about randomization. Now that I think about it, hunters 2 did something similar and I didn't really enjoy the random elements since they took away from building a strategy game, turned it into a turn based action game.
