The game is really a looker....with tons of cool effecst, banks of fogs etc... redribbon Well-Known Member Jun 11, 2010 2,799 53 48 entepreanur, programmer #12 redribbon, Jul 15, 2015 welcome back RodeoMatthew Well-Known Member Mar 18, 2015 358 0 0 QA and Community Manager Guildford #13 RodeoMatthew, Jul 15, 2015 Nope, as is. I first thought that the Game was only 2D till I moved the Camera a bit around and realized that it`s actually 2,5 so you get really a feeling for how far or why you can`t look into some Corner while others are viewable from the first moment you turn around a Corner. Pitta Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2008 3,420 148 63 Male Italy #16 Pitta, Jul 15, 2015 No. Content wise I felt (I was in the beta, courtesy of Rodeo, loved every second of it) it's like Warhammer Quest with the 3 campaign included Campaign is really awesome imho, long and varied.(DW sports 40 unique missions, all different and engaging). I could write 10K words about the game, the awesome graphics, the amazing sounds, the atmosphere, the multiplayer, the gears, the tension, the incredible maps....but what I love most of the game is the death mechanic which all the game is based upon. Rodeo managed to replicate the tension of Warhammer Quest HARD MODE (the only way to play it imho, to appreciate the mechanics) without being so gutting when you actually die, losing 10s hours of gameplay. Actually, it's really brilliant. IMHO it's different from both Hunters and Warhammer Quest....Deathwatch is a beast on its own, and imho it's amazing. Rodeo really outdone themselves with this one. It's still fun and very accessible in first chapters like Hunters was, but it's imho much more involving, especially later when you'll have to actually plan ahead and use wisely your various skills, especially when they interact for each component of your squad. Can't wait to install release version myself, finally on iPhone too. And remember, HONOUR YOUR CHAPTER. Pitta Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2008 3,420 148 63 Male Italy #17 Pitta, Jul 15, 2015 Well...it's pure 3D, it's just the camera is not (totally) free. When you move you can see high objects moving in parallax. But what I meant is that if you move up or down with TWO FINGERS vertically, you actually tilt the camera (not move or pan, but pitch) You can play the game in iso if you want so (it's pretty awesome)....expecially when your marine is on front of a big one. I always do before firing...it's just too cool jsrco Well-Known Member Patreon Silver Oct 15, 2009 2,134 1 38 Coordinator Seattle https://www.Fatthunder.com #18 jsrco, Jul 15, 2015 Then what are the IAP? luckystrikeguy Well-Known Member Sep 18, 2013 615 7 18 #19 luckystrikeguy, Jul 15, 2015 So 38 marines ? 150 pieces of gear ? Thought there was more. Guess some of it didn't make the final cut or something Sanuku Well-Known Member Jun 14, 2009 11,954 4 38 Austria http://www.touchgameplay.com #20 Sanuku, Jul 15, 2015 Last edited: Jul 15, 2015 The Game does contain a Card Shop where you can buy Packs. You can also gain those Packs by collecting 100. Marks in the Game. Those Packs contain always 1 Deadwatch Marine (Space-, Blood- or Ultramarines) together with two pieces of Wargear. Simple playing through the Game will give you those two things too so the (paid) Packs are only for those that can`t or don`t want to wait till they get those better Marines. Besides the Marines and the Wargear you have also Weapons, Abilities, Traits in the Game that you obtain by playing through the Game and earning that Way XP with whom you then upgrade your Marines or buy new Abilities, Traits or Wargear. To make it short: To get everything in the Game you don`t need to buy any Packs but simple just play the Game as it was meant to be. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
