Because there are many questions about our game, we decided to make this little FAQ. Your questions in comments help us complement this theme. HOW TO PLAY ● Swipe to move all the tiles of the same number to merge them into one of the higher grade. ● Increase your capacity to collect more memory. You can find the Drip button up from the right on the screen. You can transform the earned bytes to memory capacity any time. When your Capacity is full, the field changes to inform you about it. In this status the bytes cannot be collected. If you Drip when your Capacity is full - it means that you performed Full Drip (it also can be one of the Missions tasks). Having more Capacity you can collect more bytes that are needed for Level-Ups and purchasing new devices in the Shop. E.g. if you have Capacity of 5 Kb you will not be able to collect bigger amount of bytes, accordingly wont be able to reach Level 4 (it costs 12Kb to reach Level 4), and you wont be able to purchase someting that costs more that 5Kb in the Shop. ● Reach the higher levels to operate the higher numbers. The Level-Up button is located up from the left on the screen, also it shows your current level. You can do Level-Up only when Level indicator is completely full. The visual change of the field will let you know about it. ● Buy and upgrade devices for automatic bytes collecting. ● Buy and upgrade energy generator for automatic bytes collecting when you are not in the game. ● Combos Combo - its a row of merges, meaning the bytes should be merged constantly (one by one). Combo will be brought down when you perform the move on the field while none of the tiles has been merged. Combo can be offered in a Daily Quest, also it has its own Leaderboard. You can turn on the Combo display in Options Menu (while the display is off, Combo is still counted). ● Missions When you complete the Missions - you receive coins as a reward. When you complete all the missions they will be generated into new ones. The Daily Quest are updated once in 24 hours. Byte master integrates certain aspects from the clicker genre into the slide to upgrade the board mechanic through investments and quests. The execution will certainly appeal to IT and math minded people. Only downside if the dev is reading this is the fact that there is almost zero exlanation of the bars and investments as to their purpose. Some sort of info in game or manual would be appreciated. gaymerX Well-Known Member Dec 30, 2014 280 0 16 #5 gaymerX, Apr 30, 2015 Does anyone know what the heck is happening in this game? I really like it but I would appreciate a tutorial or help section. nimado New Member Oct 1, 2013 2 0 0 #6 nimado, Apr 30, 2015 So far really enjoying the game. It's a nice blend of 2048 with idle / incremental mechanics. Only issue I've had was spending the 99 cents on the IAP thinking it was more than just a one time use, but sill don't mind spending a dollar to support the game. ZorakZoran Well-Known Member Apr 30, 2010 201 1 18 France #7 ZorakZoran, Apr 30, 2015 Honestly I don't rate f2p games much, but this one is excellent. First sorry for the dev, as much as I'd like to give some money for Byte Master, its actual payment options don't please me a lot. Give me a permanent boost of some kind, don't mess up updating the game to give even less credits to spend, no problem. The game is a drug, well thought, I loved threes so that's nice additions to it. Like others said, needs some tooltips to explain some mechanics, other than that, solid game. vectorarchitekt Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2013 2,489 177 63 #8 vectorarchitekt, May 1, 2015 I would consider downloading if it was endless Stigol Member Apr 3, 2015 11 0 0 http://stigol.com/ #9 Stigol, May 1, 2015 Yes, it can be endless. In the first update, we will continue 99 levels till the endless. Thomadaneau Well-Known Member Mar 26, 2013 102 2 18 Digital marketing consultant #10 Thomadaneau, May 1, 2015 How do you use "Hint"? ZorakZoran Well-Known Member Apr 30, 2010 201 1 18 France #11 ZorakZoran, May 1, 2015 The icons above the grid are "hints". At first you can only use the first one, undo, the others are locked. gaymerX Well-Known Member Dec 30, 2014 280 0 16 #12 gaymerX, May 1, 2015 Thank you dev for explaining the mechanics. The funny thing is that I was still playing it regardless of how lost I was. Now I realize some serious mistakes I may have made. Thanks!!! TheGreatEscaper Well-Known Member Oct 10, 2014 1,025 22 38 #13 TheGreatEscaper, May 1, 2015 Actually a really fun clikcer/threes type game. A lot more going on than first meets the eye - and, if I'm correct, still a lot more left to discover. A surprising little gem. How far is everyone in to the game? Stigol Member Apr 3, 2015 11 0 0 http://stigol.com/ #14 Stigol, May 1, 2015 Some advices for those, who will find it here: ● Before LVl-Up, try to collect minimal bytes as much as you can – they will convert into higher, and in that moment every such byte will give you one coin. Under usual game situation, on Lvl-Up in average will you collect 5 coins, but under good tactics you can raise it till 10. ● WASTED is not as terrible as seems. Replay Level will take from you only your earned bytes, nothing more. Do not be afraid to lose. It will be better if you try to think ahead : when the situation in the game field is dangerous, then spend your bytes on devices or Drip it. ● On what it is better to spend the coins? The balance of the game is build in such way: you can spend your coins in the way you wish and that will be correct deсision. The devices automatically earns bytes, energy also produce and continue earns the bytes, even if you are not in the game. You can also spend your coins to unlock the hints (they opens automatically when you reached definite level), it will help you not to lose in critical moment, whereby will save and earn the same byte potential. As you see all these opportunities are equivalent. bobish Well-Known Member Jun 8, 2013 143 0 16 #15 bobish, May 1, 2015 This game has me confused. It is fun as hell in a 3's way. A real blast. But I don't know if I'm an idiot, but I have NO idea of the scoring system, how the Save works and what it saves, what the Missions actually mean, what the currency really does, and I'm sure I'm confused on some other things as well. But weirdly, the game is a blast. Especially if you like the 3's mechanics. vectorarchitekt Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2013 2,489 177 63 #16 vectorarchitekt, May 2, 2015 This game is great. I always liked the concept of Threes but actually didn't love the visual style. I much prefer this, and all the extra things keep it interesting. I don't fully understand what some things mean, there could be a brief Tutorial as mentioned in this forum already. vectorarchitekt Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2013 2,489 177 63 #17 vectorarchitekt, May 2, 2015 Still climbing...I sucked at Threes so I suck at this too PixelAdit Member Apr 18, 2015 5 0 0 #18 PixelAdit, May 2, 2015 Reminds me of classic 2048.
