MFi controller would be good here methinks. Hmm... actually, there isnt a roguelike that i know of that has MFi controller support. Still might give it go though Based Xatu Well-Known Member Aug 27, 2013 1,937 0 0 #7 Based Xatu, Apr 28, 2015 Just bought this, great rogue like. But there needs to be a fix on drops. I'm in a corner and there is an improved sword, but everytime I pick it up my other sword is right next to me. Doesn't sound like a problem except for the fact that my old sword is drop right next to me, so everytime I leave the corner I pick up my old sword. They should ask you if you want to change weapons or something. Played it on android before and enjoyed it. My fiancé ganked my nexus tablet so I haven't been able to play it. Thankfully, the good android games usually make their way over to iOS-land! Now we need 1Quest to make the transition! If that is your thing, you will be missing out by passing this one up. eksaint Well-Known Member Jan 2, 2015 106 0 0 #12 eksaint, May 2, 2015 I bought this based on your statement and for the most part am not disappointed. But the weapon pickup mechanic ruins this. I don't understand how this could have got through testing. Am I missing something here or 90% of the time you find a new weapon you can't pick it up... Does this mean equipping a new weapon will be almost impossible? ass_man Member Apr 2, 2015 16 0 0 #14 ass_man, May 14, 2015 This game just oozes with awesomeness! If you loved "Heroes of loot" then you'll love this!! Jorlen Well-Known Member Jan 7, 2009 1,094 2 38 IT Canada #15 Jorlen, May 15, 2015 New patch today. How's the game now? Based Xatu Well-Known Member Aug 27, 2013 1,937 0 0 #16 Based Xatu, May 15, 2015 About the same. The buttons are different, but that's all I could see. Jorlen Well-Known Member Jan 7, 2009 1,094 2 38 IT Canada #17 Jorlen, May 16, 2015 Pretty cool game. For two bucks I can easily recommend it but I feel as though it has some issues: + great retro feel including sound, graphics and music (think NES) + fast paced gameplay while still being turn based + great animations - no idea what some stuff does (blank scroll for example) - the item pickup (swap) mechanic doesn't work based on location of item making it impossible to get stuff at times - levels seem like pre-made templates but chests seem to contain random items - no rest mechanic so trying to hit enemies first is often not possible evanac Well-Known Member Nov 29, 2011 49 0 0 Senior Producer http://www.laughingjackal.co.uk #18 evanac, Jun 23, 2015 The blank scroll IS the rest mechanic, which I actually think is kind of awesome. Using it wastes time (uses up a turn) IOSgamer1980 Well-Known Member Nov 6, 2015 432 2 18 #19 IOSgamer1980, Nov 13, 2015 Sorry to necro this thread, but I'm trying to pick a $.99 game to round out using an iTunes gift card, and I'm unclear on this game. Did the dev ever fix the weapon drop/pickup issue? Does anyone play this? Is it good? This app has zero reviews online, professional or otherwise, but I like the cut of its jibb from what I've seen of it. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
