Not even a "Welcome to NHL 2K, tonight's matchup is between...." At the beginning of a game. The crowd doesn't even cheer when the teams skate out! The 2 teams literally skate out onto the ice to the sound of skates quietly shuffling. Same goalie animations, same button configuration, same faceoff animation.. It looks the same with better graphics. Rosters will be updated and the new game mode looks intriguing. I'm sure AI is improved as well. I'm not going to lie I will be buying this as there isn't many good hockey games out there but this isn't much of a step up from the other. Given the fact that the very recently-released NBA2K15 has full commentary in the game from top to bottom, I'd say the lack of any commentary in this game goes beyond surprising, and into "boggling" territory.
