How's the feel of the game so far? Chiller ONE Well-Known Member Sep 20, 2008 1,615 29 48 Nurse Sweden #10 Chiller ONE, Jun 26, 2014 This game is crap. Total and utter crap. No relative touch controls and your helicopter only seems to to fire when aiming directly at an enemy, not like literally every other shmup I have played where your craft fires continuously. How does it compare to Skyforce? It doesnt't. Skyforce was an ok shmup, this is nearly unplayable. I'll stick with the CAVE games, those are still the best shmups on iOS, uncontested. swimmingcub Well-Known Member Aug 5, 2012 253 0 0 #11 swimmingcub, Jun 26, 2014 Off topic but I made a game on the app geovertex a while ago with the same name heli hell lol! If you want a shooter like that get sky force psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,971 722 113 England #14 psj3809, Jun 26, 2014 Its a shame. I love shoot em ups, surely devs would check out the 'competition' and see what works well and what doesnt. Relative touch is essential in games like this Qwertz555 Well-Known Member May 22, 2010 2,318 29 48 #15 Qwertz555, Jun 26, 2014 Ok, this shmup is neither totally crappy nor has the worst controls ever, simply not true (i played lots of others before) but this is just imho of course. Not consistently shooting is for me a pretty interesting take in this genre, i'm not unhappy with this circumstance here. The coin income is very fair and even the four iap's are only needed when you don't wanna play the game and just buy your success. No discussion about not having the most essential control option for shmups, relativ touch controls ! How can developers not knowing these days, or are they really just ignoring this fact ?!? Heavnsix Well-Known Member Apr 22, 2012 197 0 0 #16 Heavnsix, Jun 26, 2014 It's really sad this game is turning out like crap. There was an old SNES game that this reminds me of. I can't recall the name, but it was a top down flyer, but you had a giant map to traverse at will, you would either fly an A-10 or an Apache/ Longbow and it was objective based. Was absolutely cool as hell. Also there was a mech warrior game for SNES that worked pretty similarly. I had the last two on Genesis, and they were fantastic. Anyone else having inconsistent framerate on iPad 3? Even after the usual restart/etc. I'm also disliking the controls. Relative touch aside, your helicopter seems weighted, and is resistant to sudden moves or direction changes. hellscaretaker Well-Known Member May 27, 2012 1,098 6 38 Im a youtube gamer/streamer https://www.youtube.com/user/touchgameplay #18 hellscaretaker, Jun 26, 2014 I have to agree with everyone else want a one touch shooter then go with Sky Force, I feel im having to FIGHT the game just to get the Chopper to move. Then there is enemy, and "objects" that get in the way to stop you from blasting the enemy out of the water. They server no purpose except to block your shoots, you have to go though them before you hit the boats that are parked behind them. The rockets will only fire if you lined up dead with the target, bit of the problem when the target got got me in its sights and firing straight back at me. Them are just two of the problems i find with the game, im sure there be more. Lucky its free otherwise i want my money back Heavnsix Well-Known Member Apr 22, 2012 197 0 0 #19 Heavnsix, Jun 26, 2014 Yes!
