Sorry for it Cilo Well-Known Member Feb 2, 2010 2,277 0 36 Los Angeles #10 Cilo, Jan 19, 2012 There's a pretty awesome little cooking sim here, once you get past the tutorial. You can upgrade your cooking equipment, pay for cleaning services at your restuarant, unlock new recipes, buy spices at the market, and it looks like they will be adding the option of hiring employees and mini games later. There are tons of little touches that stand out like each restuarant having a different waiter/waitress helping you as well as getting unique regular customers with different tastes. I was even visited by a health inspector one day and had to show him that I could clean my dishes properly with a sponge. Best part is it looks like everything in game is available without IAP even though there is an option to purchase currency to speed up your unlocks. The world even has its own Yelp system called Yalp, where your customers rate your business lol. At .99 Order Up! is awesome, the graphics are crisp, the controls are tight and precise, and the story/characters are pretty charming, but at free this is a complete steal. arr4ws Well-Known Member Mar 11, 2010 238 0 0 #11 arr4ws, Jan 19, 2012 I have to agree with Cilo, the game is very very good. I never would have touched it if it weren't for free, but after playing it the past couple days, would have gladly paid .99 for it! Got gold stars in the first two restaurants, just grinding away to get more coins to buy more restautants, etc. Looks like a lot of "coming soon". Not sure if these will eventually be IAP or free updates. Just wondering if anyone got the "Full Menu" achievement. I unlocked the full menu on the first 2 restaurants (including the specials) and both show 20/20 for the menus, but never got this achievement (doesn't show in Crystal either). Anyway, for anyone wondering about the game, since it's free, definately worth checking out. I didn't know this was on the Wii, but the controls on the iPhone are real easy / simple, so a good casual game to kill a bit of time. slewis7 Well-Known Member Apr 6, 2011 3,768 41 48 Male Retired! Houston, TX #15 slewis7, Jan 23, 2012 I am enjoying this immensely on my iPad 2. I do not typically like time management style games, but this is something different. The game play is quite enjoyable, gaphics and sounds are quite good, and I love the humor. Do not let the IAP model dissuade you from trying this. A dollar removes the ads and I do not believe it is necessary to buy coins to advance. However, frequently when I am trying to slice a tomato, I find that the location of the knife is offset for where it should be making for a frustrating process. Has anyone else seen this bug? It's immensely polished and well designed. You do have to grind, but I like that I have something to work toward. Much better than flying through a bunch of levels. This was a big surprise for me.
