I can't even begin to tell you how excited we are to see what you all think We've been off the face of the Earth for most of the year toiling away at this one, and we're super proud of the result! Nothing to report yet I'm afraid. Should we find the time and the right circumstance we'd love to convert it over. I'll keep you guys posted Basically, but with a few other twists and extra complexities (such as a few puzzles, a scavenger hunt aspect, etc) of course The game is definitely a "platformer game" at heart (like the Mario Bros series), but we tried to add our own unique gameplay twist (building sandwiches) and also make sure that it controlled in a way that made sense and worked intuitively on an iPhone (this was a very important part of development to us!) The game has control options for touch-n-drag gestures, a tilt mode, and finally a traditional on-screen button mode, and each of those options can be customized in some way. I'll be sure to drop in with a heads-up as soon as our trailer is released (soon) vernalequinox Active Member Oct 17, 2011 32 0 0 #13 vernalequinox, Oct 19, 2011 Can't wait!!! strivemind Well-Known Member Aug 11, 2010 2,784 2 38 Designer Ottawa, Canada http://www.strivemind.com/ #14 strivemind, Oct 19, 2011 Loved Wispin. My teenage daughters loved Wispin so I'll stick it on their 4th gen iPod Touch. I'm still really hoping it will eventually come to iPad though! gwet17 Well-Known Member Jan 11, 2011 1,636 0 0 #18 gwet17, Oct 19, 2011 As always, thanks for the video, Sanuku! Looks similar to Katamari, but much better than any of its iOS titles, that's for sure. It should fill a gap in the App Store and provide a good dose of originality to boot. Great looking capture and much appreciated Hope you all enjoy this glimpse of the game! All I can say is that the pace and excitement really ramps up as the game goes on (as far as enemies, obstacles, and level designs go), whereas this video shows more of the general introduction as we gradually teach the player how the game works. Nice catch on the Katamari comparison -- that was one of our inspirations (always been a huge fan!), though we definitely tried to take the initial Katamari concept in a unique direction (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
