Apple Arcade April 2024 Games: Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop, Super Monsters Ate My Condo+, Sago Mini Trips+, and Spatial Game Updates

Apple just announced the Apple Arcade games for April 2024. Headlined by a brand-new exclusive Puyo Puyo game, two App Store Greats, Apple Vision Pro updates for two existing titles, and more. As usual, the new games launch the same day, on April 4th worldwide on Apple Arcade. Updates will release through the month including Red Games Co’s Solitaire Stories and Hipster Whale’s Crossy Road Castle getting spatial updates. Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop () is the newest entry in the long-running series exclusive to Apple Arcade. It includes an original story, 24 characters, real-time multiplayer, and more. Alongside it, the two App Store Greats are Super Monsters Ate My Condo+ and Sago Mini Trips+ launching the same day. I’ve not played the latter yet so will be checking it out on Apple Arcade. Forum threads for the new games aren’t up yet, but I will post about them when they go up. Apple confirmed that the Apple Vision Pro updates for the two games will launch on April 25th. With them, you can play with up to four friends in Crossy Road Castle and set up a virtual card table anywhere in Solitaire Stories. Apple also confirmed that updates for Game Room, Synth Riders, Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Tamagotchi Adventure Kingdom, and SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit are coming soon on the service. The new Puyo Puyo> game is definitely the highlight of the month for me. What do you think of the April 2024 Apple Arcade games?

      So good to see Puyo Puyo returning (after SEGA Columns Deluxe from 2008/2009 which featured Puyo Pop) outside of Japan on iOS / iPadOS with controller support (since there are Puyo apps in the Japan App Store for years). Can't wait to play it early next month. This is definitely a reason to extend my currently 3 months free Apple Arcade that ends 1st of April.

      The reason Puyo Puyo Chronicle (Dec. 8th, 2016 • Nintendo 3DS) never saw this release in worldwide due to lack of interest, while SEGA of America no longer interested to do English-localization by now on then.
