It was in May of last year that Blizzard first announced Warcraft Arclight Rumble, a made for mobile game that takes place in the Warcraft universe. There’s certainly more to it than this, but in short you could describe it as Clash Royale with a more MOBA vibe and utilizing an extensive cast of beloved Warcraft characters, now stylized as mini figures like a tabletop game. We didn’t hear much following that announcement until just last month when Blizzard announced they’d shortened the name to just Warcraft Rumble alongside soft launching the game in various regions. It seems that limited launch has been going well as today they’ve announced that Warcraft Rumble is now available for pre-order globally on both iOS and Android. Check out the new trailer.

My podcast cohort and former TouchArcade editor Eli Hodapp has been enjoying the soft launch of Warcraft Rumble for the past several weeks, so I’m excited to see it getting into many more hands soon. You can pre-order on the iOS App Store here, or pre-register on the Google Play Store here, and anyone that does so or anyone who simply plays through the tutorial during the first two weeks following launch will receive an assortment of exclusive rewards, which you can find details on over on Blizzard’s blog. The listed release date in the App Store is December 31st, but my guess is that’s just placeholder and we’ll be seeing Warcraft Rumble fully launched ahead of that time.
