In July of last year prolific FMV game developer and publisher Wales Interactive announced a new FMV game titled Mia and the Dragon Princess. The story here is that you’ll play as waitress Mia, who is feeling tired of her humdrum life but hesitant to do anything about it for fear of alienating her coworkers who are basically her family. One day her life gets turned upside down when a woman shows up to Mia’s work while on the run from a group of dangerous thugs. Mia decides to help the woman, who doesn’t speak any English, and ends up embroiled in her troubles as well. This is an action-packed story as you can see in the very first trailer for Mia and the Dragon Princess.
All that action comes from some renowned figures including world-renowned fight coordinator Marcus Shakesheff who has previously worked on WonderWoman, Guardians of the Galaxy, Game of Thrones, and more; and fight stunts by Taekwondo instructor and content creator ‘Ginger Ninja Trickster’ aka Aaron Gassor. Alongside this new trailer comes a brand new PC demo on Steam as part of the Steam Next Fest which runs through February 13th, as well as a release date announcement: Mia and the Dragon Princess will be arriving on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X|S, Switch, iOS and Android on April 21st, so in the meantime be sure to check out the PC demo while it’s live.
