Spike Chunsoft’s board game Danganronpa spin-off Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp ($17.99) has just released on iOS, Android, and Steam worldwide. The PS4 version should go live later today. Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp was Nintendo Switch exclusive until today, and included in the Danganronpa Decadence collection. Read Shaun’s review of it here. Over the years, we had Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc ($15.99), Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair ($15.99), and more recently Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony Anniversary Edition ($15.99) hit iOS and Android as Anniversary Editions. With today’s release of Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp, Spike Chunsoft has discounted the trilogy for a limited time to celebrate the release with the first two games down to $7.99 and the third one down to $10.99. Watch the trailer for the new iOS, Android, PS4, and Switch versions of Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp below:
I’ve already played the Switch version, and it was fine as an inclusion in the physical bundle on Switch. I’ve never cared much for the postgame stuff in the Danganronpa main games, so this spin-off didn’t click with me as much. Check out my reviews of the first two games on mobile here and here. If you’ve skipped the Switch standalone or bundle release for the mobile version, you can grab Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp for $13.99 for a limited time on iOS here and Android here. It has in app purchases just like the Switch version which was also a paid game with optional in app purchases. Note that the App Store version is a different build for some regions. The prior link is for North America. Use this one for Asia. Check out the official website for the mobile ports here and our forum thread for the games here and here. Did you play these games on mobile or Switch through their anniversary edition releases?
