Back in October we posted about the debut game from developer WIMO Games, a new studio comprised of industry veterans, called RPG Dice: Heroes of Whitestone. This is a tabletop-inspired game where just about everything will be determined by the roll of the dice. Unlike a physical board game though, RPG Dice will lean into it being a video game where anything is possible and will feature a game board that can morph and change as you progress, as well as feature hidden passageways and secrets. During your journey you’ll engage with NPCs and ferocious enemies in battle. You can see RPG Dice in action in the following pre-registration trailer, in case you missed it back in October.
When the pre-registration campaign launched last fall, it was revealed that there would be rewards associated with how many people pre-registered, which is pretty typical of upcoming free to play mobile games. A quick perusal of the game’s official website shows that 4 tiers of rewards have already been unlocked, with at least one more tier to go, so everyone who pre-registers is guaranteed some goodies when this one launches. Speaking of which, the original launch window was the vague “early 2022" but this week WIMO has nailed down a specific release date of January 18th. That’s just a couple of weeks away so if you haven’t pre-registered for RPG Dice: Heroes of Whitestone yet you can do so for iOS on the App Store and for Android on the Google Play Store.
