Spiel Studios, who is responsible for bringing us the excellent Man vs. Missiles games among others, have quietly been working on their newest gaming project for the better part of a year, and they describe it as their most ambitious project yet. It’s called Tennis Stars: Ultimate Clash, and it aims to provide online multiplayer competition in a tennis game that has been streamlined to focus on “performance, ease of play and fun factor." In other words, this isn’t going to be your hardcore tennis simulation game, but rather something you can easily pick up and battle against other players with. Here’s a short video of Tennis Stars to give you an idea of what it’s all about.
The exciting news is that Tennis Stars: Ultimate Clash has already been submitted to Apple for approval with the plan being to put it up for pre-order next week on February 13th and then release it the following week on February 20th. However, during this final phase of development Spiel would love to gather some real-world feedback from players to help with the final balancing and testing of the online functionality. If you’d like to take part in this testing, you can find a link to the Testflight version in the thread in our forums. And if you’re not into the whole testing thing no worries, you can check out the release version of Tennis Stars: Ultimate Clash when it arrives later this month.
