D3 Go and Emerald City Games just announced the release date for G.I. Joe: War on Cobra on iOS and Android. The multiplayer strategy game hits both mobile platforms later this month with pre-registrations now live. G.I. Joe: War on Cobra is a hero card collecting game featuring various heroes, villains, and vehicles from the G.I. Joe universe. The cards are based on the original animated series and action figure lines. G.I. Joe: War on Cobra features PvP with unique characters depending on whether you play as G I Joe or Cobra factions. G.I. Joe: War on Cobra looks exactly like I would’ve imagined for a licensed game aimed at nostalgia. The art is nice and it looks like it might have some staying power depending on how it is updated. As of now, it features Duke, Scarlett, Roadblock, Snake Eyes, Baroness, Destro, Storm Shadow, and more. Also, since people are always curious about this stuff, this game is online only.
