‘Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia’ Releases in English Beginning January 30th on iOS and Android Devices

TouchArcade Rating:

When Square Enix announced the English release for Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia, I speculated that it might release around January 30th because Dissidia Final Fantasy NT releases on PlayStation 4 in the West that day. It turns out, Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia for iOS and Android will release beginning January 30th outside Japan. Watch the announcement trailer below:

Pre-registrations began on Google Play already and they are still live with prizes up to 5000 gems if they hit their registration targets. As of this writing, they’ve crossed the 100k pre-registrations barrier that rewards everyone with 4000 gems. There are still a few days to go for the actual release so it can hit the target.

If you aren’t aware, Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia isn’t a brawler like the mainline Dissidia games. It is a social RPG from Square Enix which will include mutliplayer modes and turn based combat. I expect we will see some events coinciding with big updates to Dissidia Final Fantasy NT on PlayStation 4 as well once both are available in most regions worldwide. Pre-register for it on Google Play here. The game releases in English on iOS and Android devices beginning January 30th.

Removing ethernet isn’t stupid, it’s needed to get the laptops as thin as possible. If you don’t like it you could always just get a windows laptop.

Which IS stupid because they’re removing basic functionality in the name of design. It’s a laptop, not an iPhone. There’s a point where it becomes ridiculous, and we’re there.

Yep, really doubt my next laptop will be a Mac- Partucularly if Levono keeps doing these classic ThinkPad designs.

Eric, thanks for the tip! Could you also post any deals on Anker portable power solutions if you see any?

I'm not very tech savvy so I was curious, my XPS13 has a lightning port, would that work with the USB-C hub here? I desperately have been needing more USB ports (mice, iphone, external storage, etc.). Hopefully this deal is what I've been looking for!

I also saw Anker has a "Anker 4-Port USB 3.0 Ultra Slim Data Hub for Macbook, Mac Pro / mini, iMac, Surface Pro, XPS, Notebook PC, USB Flash Drives, Mobile HDD, and More" on Amazon for only $10. I wonder if that's better? It's cheaper and technically would give the same amount of USB ports (plugs in to USB and gives 4 USB).
