I used to be really into asynchronous multiplayer games on iOS, but it’s hard to find players who’ll stick with the game and play fast enough to make a game flow well. Recently, I’ve been more into real-time multiplayer games because they fit the platform—and my schedule—better. The upcoming Mini Guns is ready to join the real-time multiplayer party, and it brings to your device gameplay similar to that of Super Senso and Clash Royale. You control an army of toy soldiers—split into infantry, vehicles, and air units—and you get Action Points as the round progresses.
You can collect and upgrade over 100 figurines, and, of course, you can join an Alliance to get help getting those figurines you’re missing from your collection. The game is currently soft launched in a few places (Canada, New Zealand, the Philippines), so go check it out and let me know if you like it.
