A few days ago, we posted a GDC video of the upcoming Stronghold Kingdoms, and now the game has soft-launched in Australia, so here’s your chance to check it out yourself. The game is an MMO version of the classic Stronghold series, so expect more of a Clash of Clans kind of game than the traditional castle-building gameplay of Stronghold. In the game, you get to build an online stronghold with strong defenses to protect it from other players while also besieging other players’ castles. You can – of course – trade with factions and do all the other usual fare of games like this one.
The game is cross-platform and seems to have a pretty big player base, so plenty of people to conquer even though it’s in soft launch at the moment.
